Believe the "ALL CAPS" review below…read more At first I was skeptical (how great can a iphone repair place really be, right?) but after my experience with FixmyiPhone, I'm feeling pretty ALL CAPS about my life right now. I get it BM, I get it now. Rewind: Last week I was walking and doing something on my phone (not the smartest) when a whip-fast teenager in a hoodie side swiped me, attempting to snatch my phone. Lucky me! He didn't steal it. Not lucky me! It smashed to the pavement and the screen to bits. Booooo. I made do for about a week because getting your smashed iphone screen repaired is not high on the list of fun things to be doing. I didn't even really know where to start. I tried making a few appointments and looked into some shady cornershop/drycleaner/keymakers -- but I got discouraged (or ignored) and thus viewed my virtual life through splintered glass for about 1.5 weeks. Finally, I'd had enough and I made a call to Fixmyiphone this morning after consulting Yelp and vowing to get this damn thing fixed. Hence the ALL CAPS review. OK, fine, let's do this. The guy that answered was really helpful (asked about the details of my phone), very friendly, and I made an appointment for later in the day to visit. You can also just pop in. I showed up at said time, handed over my busted piece, and about 8 minutes later walked out with a good-as-new iphone. They'd given me the wifi password and I was just sinking in to some email and BAM, already fixed! My life is so much clearer now! The two guys working were really cool, and very polite and helpful. Not really what you are expecting at phone shop, to be quite honest...so it was a really pleasant surprise. Legit dudes with great customer service. Repaired for about £99. Logistics: This shop is not plainly visible from the street. Go to the address (big teal "10" on the glass door), enter door, and either speak to security guy or just go up the short stairs and to the right and you'll find it. Then you'll be in business. My experience was so easy I'm sort of kicking myself for waiting so long, and also half wishing I have this issue again so I can go back. Weird? Yes, weird. Ok, I don't want to smash my screen but if you are reading this you probably have a biffed one, so you should get yourself over to these guys and get on with your life. Action items for me: 1. Buying a solid case for this iphone, RIGHT NOW. 2. Don't walk around idly with your iphone out, it might get nicked. Thanks guys! A real pleasure, indeed.

First off, getting here is a bit complicated as there isn't a sign for the business at the entrance. Look for the teal number 10 and then ask the security guard. The phone store is quite a nice little shop with some comfy chairs for while you wait. Though you wont be waiting long! I was really very shocked when they said that it would only take 15 minutes. I've had phones repaired before and they normally tell you to come back later or wait for an hour. Nope, not here. The service was speedy and quick and of high standard. To get the screen replaced on an iPhone it cost 109GBP, which isn't too bad. It also comes with a two year warranty. Though I don't think that this warranty includes if you break the screen yourself, but does include if something else happens like the screen pops off. This is a great place and I would definitely recommend that everyone use them. Gone are the days of shading backstreet phone repair shops.

So I had the task of seeing if the phone could be rescued, after the failure of leaving it in a bag of rice!! I'm working on the assumption that this is their head office, having used the phone box based one they have in Greenwich. I had made my appointment on line and read the small print which states phones dropped into water cannot always be repaired. Once in the shop the young lady who greeted me looked at the phone and showed me where the screen had been damaged by its dip. She told me that they would need the phone for 48hours, and according to the website they would do it in 3hours!! Never mind perhaps they were just busy !! Anyway I left the phone and true to their word I was contacted inside of 24 hours and told that the phone was beyond repair. They were polite and professional throughout and showed a good level of knowledge and based on the successful visit to their phone box office I would use them again.

After a horrific crack that led to a bunch of glass splinters in my thumb, I booked an appointment…read moreonline with Lovefone (no phone calls etc.) and went in the following day. They said half an hour, it took half an hour. They said £59, it cost £59. No hidden charges or any messing about as one might expect if you took it to a cheap box on the side of a corner shop. The screen repair also comes with a warranty so if it fails I can take it back and get it replaced for free. My only complaint is that the home button was pushed in too far and was clicking oddly when I used it, so had to take it back two minutes after leaving the shop, but again, this issue was fixed promptly. Great service, and worth the money.

They are always friendly, do a grand job and are great value for money. Would not hesitate in both recommending them and using them again (which with my 2 kids I suspect will be soon). Credit where credit is due.

My wife's Samsung Galaxy S2 was in a constant, but erratic, loop of turning itself on after being…read moreturned off or just showing the battery charge icon and unable to turn on. Tonik fixed it - Very good! BUT - Tonik claimed that they had found liquid in the phone and declined to guarantee the repair. THE PHONE HAD NEVER BEEN NEAR WATER, NOT EVEN TAKEN OUT IN THE RAIN. It was not possible that it was wet inside. - Very Bad, because the guarantee would only last 14 days, if treated for liquid! Customer service eventually agreed that it was not water inside but that it was the charging socket that needed fixing. I suspect my wife had tried, inexpertly, to insert the charging plug the wrong way up. Easily done. I agreed to the repair on the condition that the phone came with the "normal" 3 month guarantee but when the phone was returned, included on the invoice was "treated for liquid", which would negate the 90 day warranty. Also included on the £58.98 invoice. Reflowed PCB, replaced charging flex (No flex returned or included!) flashed software and resoldered damaged charging ic chip and components on motherboard. I'm glad that they have fixed it, but I don't think I will have them repair anything else if they adopt this two-faced untrustworthy approach to customer service, which left me feeling distinctly unhappy. The phone is still working after a week.
