I have a vintage Scotty trailer with an old style torsion axle. I noticed the wheel was rubbing…read moreagainst the wheel well, and the trailer was sitting lower than it should. A quick examination revealed one of the torsion springs was broken. I contacted Richard at Liberty Prop and Welding and he came and took some measurements, in the pouring rain I might add. He contacted Dexter, one of the only manufacturers that make replacements for this type of axle. There were some delays due to weather and the holidays, during which Richard kept in touch with progress reports. Richard was also very accommodating to our needs. Once the axle arrived, he had installed in a few days. The cost was as expected, no hidden costs or fees. The installation is perfect, the trailer is now at the correct height again, and it tows beautifully. Liberty Prop and Welding is a local family business, and I would highly recommend them.

These folks are the best! The fuel pump went out on our pontoon boat and while being towed there…read morewas damage done to the fencing /railings on the starboard side. We set up an appointment and dropped the boat off for them to do the 100 hour service, replace the fuel pump under warranty and advise us on the fencing damage. This was during the holidays and we had our mom with us, who had never seen Lake Havasu. Business manager, Alexis, put us in touch with the owner, who graciously rented us one of his pontoon rentals at a good rate so we could take mom out on the lake. For that we will be forever grateful!!!! The boat runs great after the service and fuel pump replacement. After considering their recommendations in regard to the fencing damage, we opted to have the boat manufacturer make new sections. We look forward to having Shimmer help us with their installation ahead of this next summer. With the rush for l o t o, I was having difficulty getting the boat in and we have some friends coming into town that wanted to go out in the boat. The weekend before last we picked up some sand in the sea strainer going into Pirates and were able to dig most of it out, but I wanted the system flush and it was due for an oil change, transmission fluid change and gear oil change. Not only did they get me in, Adrian picked the boat up, jumped the key lock out as I forgot to leave the key for the trailer, brought the boat back, tucked it away, and left an extra fuse just in case to boot. Day 4 had an impeller failure which she was able to squeeze me in a week later in super busy time of the year. They did great work, fixed an oil leak issue that was unknown, fixed the impeller, gave me back the broken parts and even educated me on the issues so I know what to look for the next time.
