During the conversation, he also provided helpful and professional advice regarding my other tech-related concerns. Overall, I felt that he genuinely cares about both the service he provides and the people he helps. Because of this follow-up and support, I am revising my overall experience to a 4-star review. I also hope the company's culture continues to reflect this level of care and professionalism and continues to support both customers and staff. --------------------------------------- Previous review -I brought my MSI laptop to this shop for a lid repair. At the time, there was a small crack on the left side near the hinge, and I was worried it might get worse , but the screen bezel was intact. I was initially told that once the part arrived, they would notify me to bring in the laptop, and the repair would then take about a full day. The part arrived on December 30, 2025, I dropped off the laptop on January 6, and picked it up on January 9. -After I got home, I turned on the webcam to prepare for a meeting, and noticed that the screen displayed a blue image. I contacted the shop immediately. I was asked to bring the laptop back for further inspection, but no explanation was provided regarding the possible cause of the issue. -Since the shop is about an hour away, I asked whether a remote diagnosis could be done first to better understand the situation. I was informed that there would be a charge for that service. At the same time, I looked into common causes of this issue and found that it can result from a protective film not being removed during repair. However, this possibility was not discussed. -If a likely cause had been communicated, it would have helped me better understand whether an immediate return visit was necessary. Without that information, the situation was unclear and required additional time and travel to resolve. -More recently, about four months after the repair, I noticed that the bezel near the hinge has cracked, even though I have been handling the laptop carefully. This area was not damaged prior to the repair. Given that the hinge area is a high-stress point, I am concerned that the repair or reassembly may have contributed to this issue. Overall, my experience was disappointing. While the initial interaction felt welcoming, it was followed by a noticeably self-protective approach when issues arose. Although the repair was completed, I encountered additional problems afterward that required significant time and effort to resolve. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend that others ask detailed questions about the repair process, confirm what testing will be performed, and ensure the device is thoroughly checked at the shop before taking it home. In general, I believe that clear communication and transparency are important in building trust with customers over the long term.

I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful group of young people to help some of us that are so frustrated with the new technology and have the patience to explain everything that we need to know.     Ben and his team saved my life. I just ordered a new backup drive to backup my files on my old Dell…read morelaptop. The day before the backup drive arrived, of course, my laptop crashed and I got the blue screen of death. I tried Dell but of course Dell is useless. I gave Ben my laptop and prayed he could extract my data--two years' worth of pictures of me and my kids, numerous writing projects and all kinds of personal files. In a few days Ben had extracted literally every file I had. He charged me $299 when other quotes I received ranged from $350 to $1500. He answered every email I sent him promptly. He's a good guy. If you live in Westchester or Fairfield or Putnam you should take your broken hard drive to Ben.

    I brought my MacBook in after it crashed and after I was told by many others to just throw it away…read morebecause it couldn't be fixed. When I brought it to RSA, they told me it didn't look good but they would give it their best shot. I called and bothered the guys everyday, sometimes twice a day, and got an update on the computer each time. They were so patient. After only a couple of days, they were able to fix the computer and reload all of my programs on it. I don't remember the exact price, but I remember being shocked by how low the price was, considering how attentive they were and the fact that no one else thought it could be fixed. I would highly recommend going to RSA for any computer problems. These guys are brilliant, attentive and patient.

However, for my virus covered hard drive, it took about a week and a half, 250$, and an eradication of my previous data. I personally restored all data on my PC, but the cost and time it took for it to be repaired at a rather menial outcome is quite disheartening. It is completely understandable, however, that they did their job as quickly and efficiently as they could. They asked for my permission to even go through my hard drive prior to their repair - something that warrants a good commendation in the practice of privacy minding. They will not release any of the contents, regardless of the matter. They are confidential in their search to fix an infected PC. Aside from computer repair issues, they boast that they can help with video game consoles - things I have not explored like XBOX's RAMROD Repair or on line connections. It's worth a try to come here than mail in a system or go to an occupied larger company; I'd give my recommendation to that. Adorned in the tiny store are multiple anti viruses and hardware, which I recall were for sale. Now don't get me wrong - I support local business, and seeing this place as probably cheaper and friendlier than their bigwig counterparts in the Best Buys & PC Richards, it is better to come here for technology related issues ... as long as you have a rather large wallet, that is. Parking is a three car lot, but this place doesn't get too many customers because of it's non-central location - so no worries about getting there.
