Best place I have ever taken my laptop for service. James is the one we dealt with and very impressed. Cleaned up the virus I had in no time. Very reasonable price! Had to go back a few days later as I had problems reinstalling my MS Office. He sat down with me and got it installed, plus he assisted others that came in while doing it. No charge, but I gave him a nice tip. They also have refurbished computers and laptops for sale and a couple bought one while I was there. Will not be going anywhere else for support. read more

These guys are great! I brought the my laptop in after it sat at another computer shop for weeks. The other shop didn't know what was wrong with it and told me to just buy another. That was not an option since I run my home business with this computer. I had a nightmare computer experience with another shop and called to see if I could get help setting up my email account which would not send or receive messages. They put the tech on the phone, he established a remote into my laptop and within five minutes the problem was fixed! Had a problem with my computer, but due to the COVID-19 lockdown, Best Buy said that they wouldn't even be able to take my computer in until June 1--and that's with me having their protection plus plan. So, I called up TechMate and asked if they could look at my computer and they said to bring it in and that their diagnosis was free. So, I brought it in and a few days later, I was informed that the problem lay with my monitor or cable and that there would be no charge--they even threw in a free video cable. I was most impressed by their service and welcome and when it comes time to upgrade my system in the near future, they will be the ones I turn to first. I was very disappointed in my experience. I called them inquiring about a simple part and booting issue and they said we have the piece and you can come in. I told them over the phone and when I arrived that I was not seasoned with computers but instead of double checking my problem, they took it as an opportunity to sell me an outrageously over-priced item and leave out the no return policy. The part did not work and my friends told me I got ripped off, so naturally I went to return it and they said no (I even asked the owner to be kind enough and he made a comment that they didn't charge me hourly to answer my questions). I went to another shop down the road and it was a cheap little sata cable fix, they checked for free since I wasn't sure on the problem and installed an operating system for almost a third less. If you want to deal with used car salesmen, that do not care about customers, this is the place. read more
