I love Fogo de Chao, but had never been to this location in Indianapolis. Of all the FdC that I have visited, I have to say this place had the best service by far. The waitstaff and the person whom I assume was the manager were always asking if we needed anything, and if everything was ok. I got nice thick cuts of meat every time. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures because I was so hungry and excited to eat, but my friend got the salmon and enjoyed it (pictured below). The meats were grilled really well. The char on the outside was perfection. The salad bar had a lot of choices, and everything was tasty. I'm going to have to stop by here whenever I'm in town for business.

The hostesses, all four of them, were rude and condescending. They tried ignoring my party of four. When we did get seated our server was bizarre, I don't know if they were on drugs or what. Like, notably strange. The churrasco was okay. The salad bar seemed like someone was making sure it didn't run empty. There was nothing really fun or relaxing, my friend wanted filet and had to ask 4 times before a pretty grumpy guy brought it around. We weren't even sure it was the proper cut because of the amount of fat on it. Maybe something else they were trying to pass off. After the first few carvers came by there was a good 15 minute lull where we saw nobody but the bussers, with empty drinks sitting at our table. Took forever to have our waitress come back to cash us out, after we had basically just given up on trying to eat anymore. We just wanted to leave. I might go to another Fogo de Chao in like, another location. All of my complaints here seem to stem from incompetent manager and deficient training. In my opinion this place is only open because it's a stone's throw from several hotels. You can spend your time and money better at any of the nearby steakhouses.

Our waters never got below half full and they asked us if we needed anything multiple times. Me and my two friends ordered way to much food but we wanted to try everything! We ordered 3 small orders of boneless wings. I can't remember exactly what flavors we got but they were all pretty good, some better than others! We also ordered gyoza, which comes with 8 pieces, French fries, and sweet potato fries. We overdid it on ordering but we wanted it all!

They have lots of choices for chicken flavors, but only for wings. The half or whole chicken are only limited to 3 flavors, and sometimes, only 2 are available. I got the bulgogi rice bowl, not bad, enjoyable but the meat is not as flavorful like K-Town. The So Ddeok So Ddeok was just ok in flavor, but really spicy. The chicken fried rice was well flavored and not over powering so it was enjoyable. Overall, it hit some marks but missed on some. We're used to really flavorful food if it's Korean. if you're looking for that here, there are other places that's better. But their chicken, we would definitely come back for them, as they're really, really good, especially fresh off the frying pan. We ordered a whole chicken (golfen original) for to go we can continue to enjoy them at home (air fryer). Service was good, considering there was only one server, but it wasn't busy. No outdoor seating. Great ambiance for watching sports. Let's just say, it's better place to watch sports than BWW.

I recently returned to this hobby since I was a kid and I am now an old guy.. I was amazed at the…read moreadvances. I chose Mr muffin as my dealer and spent thousands of dollars in less than a year for stock items and pre-orders. This last Christmas my family bought 2 items for myself and my son that I was not aware of that were also on my Mr. Muffin pre-order list. This pre-order list of multiple items also amounted to thousands of dollars. I called just to ASK (ASK only) if I canceled those 2 pre-orders (out 6 more that were already placed), would that ruin our business relationship in the future. I told the receptionist that I did not want to have that loss of a relationship to occur and would accept and pay for the duplicate pre-order if that were the case. The receptionist canceled the pre-order without indicating at all that there would be a problem for future orders. In fact, we discussed the delivery dates of the remaining 2 items on the order that I still wanted. Weeks later, I went online and noticed that all of my pre-orders were canceled. I called the company to ask if Lionel had stopped production or what had caused the cancelation to the receptionist. I was transferred to the owner. I explained the situation. His response was that is not how the situation was explained to him and told me to find another dealer or supplier of Lionel trains. This really took the wind out of my sails for the hobby and soured me. I was working with my disabled wheelchair bound son who has muscular dystrophy to get into the hobby. All he can do is play video games and I figured that this would be a good way to work together as a common interest other than videos. It was something he could still control by hand. He loves Star Wars and I had pre-ordered Star Wars Phantom locomotives which now 1 of the 2 locomotives are unavailable due to the pre-order the company's cancelation. They did not bother to notify me in anyway and special run had sold out. I've gotten over it. It's not hearts and lungs. I moved on to other dealers as Steve strongly suggested that we do before he hung up. Since then, I read some online posts. Most were similar experiences. No problem as long as there is not a problem. When there is a problem...good luck. If I had to make an analogy: Remember the Seinfeld episode "Soup Nazi". Need I say more? From my viewpoint, don't count on service beyond the sale! Be especially careful if you pre-order. The rights that are reserved for Mr. Muffin to cancel your orders state that he can do that if there are unreasonable cancelations on your part. In reality, that means a FIRST or ANY cancelation as opposed to an true abuse of their pre-ordering system. Watch out for hidden tariff charges and taxes. These charges are not transparent and not upfront. You will charged those at the time of shipping with NO estimate. I realize that this is not totally under their control. However, if you don't like the charges, you will be banished. If you even, ask you will be banished. BE CAREFUL to you newcomers. The hobby is still worth it and so are many other dealers who are decent businessmen and hobbyists.

Crushing them. Geraldine's is a quaint, cozy, hidden gem with an incredible dinner vibe. They even had live piano music during dinner, which gave the whole evening a smooth, grown, classy feel. Between the six of us, we had filet, salmon, rack of lamb, pork chops, crab cakes, sourdough bread, glazed carrots, sautéed spinach, mashed potatoes, French onion soup, and wedge salad. We all sampled each other's food, and not one lie told, everything was 10/10. I mean everything. That sourdough bread was incredible. Now let's talk about the drinks. We all had the smoked watermelon martini with tequila and a Tajin rim. Ridiculous. Later, I had a smoked Buffalo Trace old fashioned, and that was excellent too. The service was just as good as the food. Alexandria took care of us for the entire evening, which was about four hours. She was gracious, knew the menu, handled everything smoothly, and made zero mistakes the entire night. Misty, the manager, was awesome. She took our photos, helped with the birthday cake, had it cut, added candles, and served it to us. That is 10/10 service. On top of that, she played Stevie Wonder's version of "Happy Birthday." If you know, you know. Then there is Rea, the bartendress and mixologist. All I can say is, we will absolutely be back for happy hour. She is her. And I have to give credit to the kitchen. Michael, the sous chef, cooked our meals. He is only 27 and said he has been in the kitchen for 14 years. You can tell. That was the best 12 oz filet I have ever eaten, and I have eaten plenty of steak in my life. The man is gifted. Cooper was assisting, I believe, and handled the sides. Cooper, I apologize if I have your role wrong, but you nailed it. The sides and presentation were top tier. This was a great dining experience from start to finish. Geraldine's Supper Club & Lounge is going on our list of favorite places, and we will definitely be making more reservations.

First, the space was tight, and we were sitting nearly elbow to elbow with strangers. The establishment is an old, narrow building, so there was a strong attempt at placing as many tables and chairs as possible without violating fire code. Our neighbors made it their business to be in ours. I'm just not a fan of individuals inserting themselves in another's conversation although we were talking low. The only good part was the pianist was a nice touch; he chose music to fit the ambiance and was highly talented. Part of the bad service was someone -- I can assume was the manager or owner -- telling us there's a two-hour seating limit as soon as we sat down. She added that Geraldine's had a long list of people for upcoming reservations due to the Devour Indy promotion. Later, my date said the manager's approach was enough for us to walk out without dining. Plenty of arrivals after our sat-down didn't have an early-on encounter with the manager or owner as I was seated at a good view. WE WERE TREATED POORLY. Needless to say, we didn't max out the two hours. We arrived at 6:24 p.m. for our 6:30 p.m. reservation. Also, there was no acknowledgement of my birthday although I indicated it on my reservation. Here's the worst part: Our overpriced food tasted awful, was flavorless. I often eat fish, particularly salmon, when I dine out, and this was the worst. They must've run out of seasoning. I've never had such poorly done salmon. Plus, there was dryness. Boulder Creek, Stone Creek, 1933 Lounge, and Peterson's do better in flavor. Even Texas Roadhouse serves more bang for your buck with flavorful selections. Thumbs-down on the broiled steak: My date said the 12 oz. ribeye was tough and needed to be seasoned. Simply flavorless. He also stated the vegetable topping was scarce. He added that he cooks a better tender and well-seasoned meat on his grill. Geraldine's cook should step down or be let go. We'll never return. Geraldine's eventually will go out of business. This establishment is all hype. You will have buyer's remorse.
