Pine straw was removed, bushes removed, then weed barrier and rock and new plants were added. He was very careful of our grass and sidewalk while pulling out the bushes.

Set an appointment- the salesperson walks into our backyard and so we start going through the paces he starts by saying we don't do small jobs. We typically deal with big projects which means big $$. Red flag for us since we just wanted a stone patio with a fire pit in the center 10x10. We are like ok? Is this a job you would do? Silence .... So we go into price.... Well, what would the ballpark be? Huge sigh and head scratch. I was beginning to think he didn't want the job which is fine, just tell me that and be on your way. I asked are we within $10,000, no response, he is staring down at the grass then he goes well it is a huuuge job. My husband realized what was at play, So my husband wanted to see how far he would go, $20,000 ball park? No response, $30,000? No response, $50,000 .... $60,000 well I need to have several guys here and it is very labor intensive. A 10x10 patio???? I am sure if we kept adding tens of thousands he would keep going & we were going to get ripped off. We never got a straight answer on price or project time line. What we did get was a laugh and a little amusement out of the appointment so not all was lost.

This is the second time I've used this company in ~3 years to re-roof my Atlanta homes…read more Both times the bid was competitive, the work was prompt, the owner was communicative and responsive to my requirements, and went the extra mile - to give a prompt and very fair bid (best, both times), - to meet helpfully with my insurer, - to do a professional roofing job (chimney flashing, new boots for vents, special treatment of valleys, drip edge, replacement of -in the 2nd case- 7 sheets of plywood where old was soft/damaged, etc.). He also did a very thorough clean up at the end of the job. This roof looks great. Last time (3 years ago) job also looked great, and there have been no problems.
