This happened way too much. And he never returned a phone call. Convinced me to give in when I shouldn't have because all most attorneys care about is money not when a child was being victimized and abused by the other person. Nothing was accomplished not even when my son was kidnapped. Don't waste your money. I would rate at a zero.

As you can see, this law firm is a hit and miss, promised aren't followed through, prices arent bad…read morebut aren't good either for the services given, 4 years 2 months later to get convicted on a misdemeanor that was told id have cleared if I signed for a felony and he looked confused as if he never said that(stapler) two extra misdemeanors that I was completely innocent on that I wanted off my record because I had a whole notarized letter with the state of Texas stamp of approval and a confession from someone else, I was not considered innocent. Only thing that he got me as promised was the felony deal. All in all he wasn't the only problem or maybe he could be who knows, bell county does not recognize and notarized confession with their stamp of approval so obviously bell county, all the judges and prosecutors are pathetic and a joke themselves, they tried to go back on a deal that was signed for a year and a half and throw me in the system as well, the only good part I definitely will say is that stapler kept those fools from locking me up clearly disregarding their deals that they proposed. But once again this is 4 years and 2 months for a weed and gun case, the law firm is pretty pathetic for taking that long to close a simple case like this and bell county court is pathetic and should be embarrassed and investigated by how they go about their due process. Both sides are pretty bad but the law firm had its half decent moments. My advice to anyone in bell county. If you got court in bell county go get you a lawyer that is not from this county because these losers in that building are all "buddy buddy, let's get along because we work together and play golf together" etc type of people, find you a real lawyer that doesn't see prosecutors every day and after 5pm at the bar. So you can have real justice in your favor.

Mr. Williamson requested that I get information for who found him & never followed up to get a statement. He told me I was entitled to money during consultations but when we got to court for the final hearing, he just shrugged the whole thing off. He ill advised me about other aspects of my case and then fired me as a client when I try to get clarification. I assumed I was paying him to work for my best interest, but he didn't do enough work to bill me for the full retainer paid so I got a statement stating retainers are non-refundable. Recently one of my friends male friends called for information regarding divorce and the the staff advised him that Mr. Williamson strongly supports men in divorce cases and he will do everything on his power to make sure he gets the best. Maybe it's because I am a women or maybe it's because I am black he didn't bother working in my best interest...but he wasted my time, money and left me feeling cheated as a client.

He does not speak up in court, he lets the opposing attorney walk all over him. More importantly, he does not in any way defend his client in court! Her approach was often adversarial toward her own client; she was frequently disorganized and used demeaning language during our consultations. Critical issues included: Lack of focus: Prioritizing personal anecdotes over case strategy. Hostility: Berating me for small errors and using inappropriate language. Bias: Dismissing professional psychological assessments without cause. Ethical concerns: Threatening to pursue harsher outcomes based on personal misconceptions. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend her services to anyone seeking reliable or ethical legal representation. The Carlson Law Firm, a much more professional and much more efficient and diligent law firm with much better attorney's, were able to get my case dismissed and dissolved all together. Something the unprofessional and inadequate, Susan Criss said wouldn't be possible on top of her empty hate filled threats to push for more than 18 months of probation. I did 3 months of no contact probation and didnt have to go to court once, I didnt have to meet with any probation officers, all I had to do was not get a ticket for 3 months. That was it. Susan Criss is a horrible lawyer and an even worse person. She's unprofessional, and above all she lacks good information, doesnt have good knowledge or navigation of the legal system, and she doesnt care to put any real work or effort into your case. Shes lazy, UNORGANIZED, and I can not stress this enough, UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

We called nearly every attorney in central Texas, and no one would help us except Manuel. He took his time to listen to us, made us felt like we were his only clients which we weren't. Truly a blessing. When you're going through a difficult time, it's so important to have someone who is truly in your corner, Manual is that person. He is passionate, caring and so good at what he does! I would recommend him again and again.

He came in looking like the weekend was rough, acted like it was a privilege to see him, talked down to us, and would not THOUROUGHLY read ANY of the stacks of documents we had. He kept cutting us off in the middle of trying to explain why we needed assistance. I called and got told to come in, when they could have said "No". I came with all documents. Mr. Beatty comes in the room looking like I interupted the company picnic. It was a 1pm appointment and he strolls in about 1ish. All of this could have been handled over the phone. His office could have taken the time to tell us they weren't equipped unwilling unstead of having me drive all the way down there. I also found it odd I never got a call to confirm my appointment and when I get there I have to ring a bell. He doesn't know what a potential client went through or their mental state. He wasn't concerned. He was focused on getting us out his door like we were bothering him. He already had his mind made up before walking in the room. He lacked any sense of compassion or manners. Go to a lawyer who is going to listen and fight for you instead of fight against you.
