I want to address that guy who said the girl with the tattoos doesn't listen and gives the same cut every time: I've had just the opposite experience. I have Alopecia. It comes when I get really stressed out and leaves me with bald spots. I hurt my back and couldn't find work after the Montpelier School System illegally fired me for not being able to do my job while on Workers Comp. It was indeed stressful. Anyway the bald spots are growing back, finally, but they got big, (like the size of your average coaster), and grow back as very fine white/blonde hairs. Wow, enough about me... She has been absolutely fantastic about cutting my hair so the spots don't show!! This has been no easy task. There are 3 big spots that are finally growing back. She has masterfully made me look like a normal human being the whole time; 18 months. I found a great new job that I love. I don't think the interview would have been as successful if I had gone in with a bad haircut exposing my circus-freak-like bald spots!!! No one hires Circus-freaks anymore, not even the dam Circus! So poop on you, bad review guy; she's the Bomb!! I have forgotten her name because I'm a doofus, but she's awesome. And so is everything about the Shop. The have great products too. For Men! I arrived before noon on a weekday and didn't have to wait, that was cool…read more Ray was my barber, he was clearly experienced and not much of a chat-er which I appreciate, I'm not a fan of small-talk. Ray worked efficiently, first using thinning shears, then a couple of different trimmers, then scissors to do the length trims that needed to be done. Isabelle was the barber working in the chair next to mine, she was quite a talker so that kept my attention. There is no music or background noise so the barber shop is pretty quiet. Technically my haircut was great, I am happy with the results. At the end of the hair cut Ray used hot shaving cream to trim my sideburns and neck with a straightedge, gotta love that. I will return to Turnage, I had a good experience.
