I am truly thankful for WRRC and all the crew at the house. Not only did their methods help cure me of the obsession, but they gave me insight into my life and tools to use that has allowed me to thrive without the need of Alcohol. My wife and kids are also very grateful to everyone at WRRC who started me on this new journey. For anyone struggling with addiction, I'd highly recommend checking in. I loved that their methods are holistic, and not necessarily pushing any one solution to recovery, but teaching numerous principles. I believe most, if not all the counselors and people in the house have been down the road, so have real life experiences of recovery and really seem to want to share the gift. If you are truly ready to stop the madness caused by addiction and willing to listen, learn and be open for change in your life, this place is waiting to help get you on the path to recovery. The house is situated in a beautiful area with wonderful views and wildlife. The pool, gym, game room, food options, weekly excursions and phone options, which help with family involvement are certainly a nice bonus as well. I'm currently over 15 months sober and continue to use the skills I learned in "The House". I'll be forever grateful for the caring people of this facility, and look forward to the weekly alumni meetings and occasional BBQ's back at the house. They saved my life. Enjoy every moment....

You (they) are talented, kind, smart, respected, and capable, but you (they) can't make it without help. There is no shame, no stigma, and no better place to reclaim your (their) life than WRRC. The location is convenient (close enough but worlds away), the accommodations and offerings exceptional, surrounded by beautiful trees, in the nearby mountains with a pool and hot tub. Exercise, yoga, optional massages and trips off site made this an incredible experience, but the people of WRRC make your freedom possible. I made plans months out (though their turnaround based on need is remarkable), and the staff were exceptionally accommodating, fielding questions via phone, text and email. I wanted to visit, and had a great time meeting both the staff, as well as clients. I had a chance to chat with a client with no supervision - they let me know that they had extended their stay by 2 months! I thought this amazing, but having spent a month, I truly understand. Lindsay was the first person I spoke with. She has many hats, all worn well, with expertise running impactful groups (super supportive) and WRRC. I never felt pressured before I decided on WRRC, and she was always available for questions. A caring, sincere, resourceful and super cool human (I will repeat this and give an overall appraisal at the end of the review)! Nikki was my case manager, and was great - vibrant, kind and informative. She juggled needs effectively, making appointments and taking care of my support network. A super cool, effervescent human! Jay facilitated groups in a refreshingly direct and calm way, holding us accountable while delivering the tailored curriculum. Exceptionally caring, a paladin of recovery, a super cool human! Lesley met my health-conscious food needs deliciously...her Green Tahini needs to be on salads globally. I had to pinch myself to remember why I was at the Retreat with meals this delicious! With great warmth and kind conversations, a super cool human! Kritika led great and insightful groups, shared great resources, connections, conversations as well as made some tasty food too! Kind, big hearted and committed to your recovery, a super cool human! Dave leads groups as well as outings. Nothing can convey the profound capacity of Dave, the Lao Tzu of WRRC, whose wisdom, caring and experience manifests in surprising, joyful and hysterical ways. A super cool, super real human! Suzie is an exceptionally kind, resourceful and generous member of the WRRC, sharing insights, laughs and wisdom throughout the month. Her experiences offered unique perspectives on the transformation of recovery, her suggestions golden, a super cool human! Gerry was fantastically up on everything, caring, efficient and cheerfully supporting us in our recovery. Generous, dedicated, warm and kind, a super cool human being! Robin was a great asset to recovery, with excellent fitness routines, deep knowledge regarding the overlap between kinesiology and recovery. Wise, talented and a great guide to the nearby parks, she brings another critical facet to the recovery. A super cool human! Lisa conducted our yoga sessions, this is an area where I lack expertise, but she provided her own unique, touching and deeply kind insights, a super cool human! Jessica facilitated our art therapy sessions, and they were creative and offered lasting insights to address continued sobriety. Caring, tuned in and creative, a super cool human! Chris is my definition of a therapist, someone qualified by training, but naturally talented through experience and being a whole human being. We worked in several different modes, solo (insightful and impactful), with my kids (healing and owning) and my girlfriend (transformational and future focused), as well as in the family groups, all the while using honesty, care, humor and deep compassion to bring out the best of a wide range of clients, family and ages. Understanding the needs of such a wide range of folks requires wisdom to meet suffering where it is, and Chris applied just that, being a great guide toward a life of recovery and super cool human! The month passed quickly, and I could go on paragraph after paragraph regarding the deep conversations, laughs in comradery, recognition of past suffering, and the blue horizon of a sober future with each of the aforementioned WRRC guides. But in that is the point - they are committed to your recovery, trained in effective tools, human in their recognition, honest in their embrace of the complexities of it all, and compassionately fully engaged in your better future. I know it might be hard to acknowledge, but you or your loved ones deserve this level of care. There is no shame, no stigma, you (or your loved ones) are human. Nothing is more important, and WRRC delivers. I cannot recommend WRRC highly enough. Dan says "Check it out"!

They have been the most patient and these most respectful and the most caring team of people I've ever met in my life. Everybody who works here deserves a raise, and the city of San Jose needs to refund them for their outpatient full service partnership! It took me 15 years of being on the streets to get the 18 months that I had, I got certified through the state of California as a California state Medi-Cal and I had a job at the NAMI Santa Clara County, but when my mother and my father died tragically it caused me to have a big fall, this is a place where they will pick you up, give you a lot of useful tools and techniques to deal with hurts hangups and habits, and the people here are amazing it's not just the staff, it's the people that they help, and how the staff showed me to thrive again amd become independent, learn to live a better life than having to settle for jail institutions or even worse things than that, I recommend momentum for health over any organization that's here in Santa Clara county. Thank you!

They neglect very flagrant health code violations by gaslighting psychologically vulnerable people into silence, and champion evidence-based therapy practices while (ironically) doing everything in their power to hide evidence of their neglect. It's a classic example of the best intentions culminating in the worst of humanity. Lots of virtue signaling and efforts to look as wonderful as they possibly can to their donors and insurance providers, but ultimately a very soulless and honestly traumatizing environment. They do far more harm than good, which is a shame, because their stated mission to help others really is beautiful. If only they weren't lying through their teeth.

I previously stayed with Momentum during a tough time in my life (I was recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury) and I was so thankful for Momentum's help and the overall care that I received while staying there. Truly every member of the team was phenomenal while I was staying at momentum. One team member in particular stood out in my memory and his name is Micheal and that was because he continually went above and beyond to help me during my stay at Momentum. Not only was Micheal a great support structure during my stay at Momentum, he actually went as far as to use his own funds to buy me some much needed socks while I was staying at Momentum, so that I could go out jogging and reap some of the much needed mental health benefits from the exercise that I was getting while doing so! This is a true story! Micheal also went out of his way to help me on numerous other occasions as well, and so I truly believe that he is a very valuable, and very special member of the entire Momentum team. Juan Cooper is another amazing individual that I had the pleasure of meeting while I was staying at Momemtum. Juan is just one of the kindest, most caring, most understanding, and most non judgmental individuals that I've ever met! Once again the entire team at Momentum is just the best thing that to ever happen to the world, and so much so that they should each be praised in my review. Sadly, I cant recall the names of the other team members that helped me so very much during my stay at Momemtum at this time but each and every one of the team at Momentum is definitely a major contributor to the success of Momentum and a reason why Momentum is so successful at helping so many individuals in need in the Community in Silicon Valley. With that in mind, if you are ever in need, please don't hesitate to come to Momentum for help. Momentum truly cares about the well being of all individuals in their community and they truly care about making the world a better place! Asking them to provide even the most basic services is treated like a tremendous hassle. I knew there was trouble when I had to attend my first Court date. The staff promised they would set up a Microsoft Teams connection and I could attend remotely. A hour later, they simply tell me there is no Court today. I logged on to the Court website to only find out there was in fact Court that day and a bench warrant had been issued for my arrest. This typifies the level a care a person can expect to receive here. I have been offered drugs multiple times by fellow Residents living here. Another Resident is making jailhouse hooch in the backyard. It took staff 24 hours to go through a simple bag of my stuff so I could have even a change of clothes...even though the entire over staff sat in the same office doing basically nothing for 8 hours. After bringing up my concerns, the staff transfers the most difficult and loudest (and snores like a freight train even though I mentioned my recovery was dependent on my getting enough sleep...I have epilepsy) into my room from a neighboring room for literally no reason I can fathom other than vindictiveness. And this is not the first time for this. After bringing up my initial concerns, I was told the new restriction that applied only to me was seven days before I could go to the store with the group. There are schedules posted on the walls, none of which are followed by the staff. Unable to even print a new schedule is the level of staff care and effort we are dealing with. I cannot imagine a place more poorly run or worse for mental health. Any concerns have simply been met with the threat that I can go back on the street and being homeless if I want. A failure across the board. More like jail than any sort of recovery. I asked the staff to open my Locker on so I could retrieve some food, only to find my locker completely empty. The staff response: "Oh Well." I requested a pass for legitimate critical business I needed to take care of including registering with my drug treatment program (AARS) visiting the General Assistance and Social Security Office, visiting the Reentry Center. Just requesting the pass form to fill out took 20 minutes of debate. And of course all passes refused with no explanation. Now my concern is with my bag of stuff in their office. Will it even be there tomorrow? I find myself checking in every hour just to make sure it is still there. (And how does it take staff 24 hours and my repeated requests to go through a small bag of stuff? Every staff member just kept saying it was someone else's job. Meanwhile I find them in the office all day on their phones.) I am seriously concerned about my mental health. The fact that this place even exists is depressing. I have been to other residential facilities and mental hospitals and even a homeless shelter and this place is run with far less consideration of care than any of them. Of course their standard answer is: You can always go back to the streets. The last night I was on the streets, I almost got stabbed. Still, everyday I consider it and the longer I am here the better option being on the streets seems to this.
