My project involved preparing the bed for…read moreplanting, which included tearing out two existing larger sized and two tiny bushes, cutting out tree roots, installing Black Diamond lawn edging, planting the shrubs and bushes we had purchased, putting down mulch, and over seeding the lawn with additional topsoil. This was relatively a small job, as this was for a condo unit. After the bushes were torn out, for some reason they complained about the tree roots. Although, this was in their scope of work, we agreed that we would pay additional money for their efforts to remove any roots that were in the way of the edging. He knew he had to bring a saw to tackle the roots but never brought one. This Contractor was unskilled in the installation of the edging. In fact, he stated he did not like to install edging. After the removal of the bushes, this contractor would show up in the late afternoon around 4 to 5 pm but after the removal of the bushes nothing more was accomplished. The contractor indicated he had a day job and that he could only come after work. We did not know this when we decided to use them. We ended up firing them after paying 50% down for this project. All I got was bushes removed and uninstalled edging with two spikes! I would not recommend this company.

i would have liked to give them a five star review, they seemed so professional, but i have to say…read morei was very disappointed in their service. i hired them to trim shrubs, and not only did they leave a big mess, they weren't very skilled at trimming shrubs. they blew the debris into garden beds, in the drive ways, leaving me the job of raking it all up. there is a skill you need to trim shrubs and make them look good. these guys did not have it. they were over trimmed, and uneven. it was a large job but i think i paid them fairly. maybe they are better at other things.

They are not reliable and even when they did perform the service the quality was poor at best. Almost weekly I had to ask if they were going to show up. After contacting them I would receive repeated confirmation that they were behind but that I would still receive my weekly service. They hardly ever showed. Excuse after excuse was provided (again only after I had to follow up with them). Avoid this business - they are not reliable.

SPS mows my lawn perfectly it is not too tall or too short they do it just right EVERY TIME. This company knows what they are doing. Last year regrettably I hired a company who's landscape work was too aggressive and it never failed they would cut the grass way too short and did a horrible job edging. It pissed me off to look at my lawn back then but now Thank goodness for SPS. I pull into my driveway and right away notice the clean mowed lines and the perfect edge work. Not only was their price very reasonable (it came in between two other quotes), Mike also took his time to explain what to look for in a paver patio and what design elements would fit our vision. He also educated us on the installation process of the patio from the very beginning. Once the construction started, it went much quicker than we had expected. And throughout the process, Mike continued to communicate with us changes that needed to be made based on the elevation of our yard. He always gave us choices on the changes, and we often consulted him on the better choice. Because we were working from home, we were able to observe Mike and his crew working on the patio. It was very clear that Mike took great care with the little details to make the patio perfect. Based on the similar care his crew members showed, it was clear that Mike also imparted the importance of quality work to them.
