One place wanted to charge me $125 a stand, on-line solutions were almost as expensive. I came across Central Graphics during my google searching. Although it didn't look like they sold the stands I needed at retail, I thought they'd be a good place to stop by and ask about where I could find something. By this time I was down to less than 48 hours when I needed the stands for a trade show. (Yes, yes, bad planning on my part, I know) I stopped in at Central Graphics, unannounced having never been a customer of theirs and not knowing anyone there personally. The receptionist called Managing Director, Jeff Loofboro, over to help me. I explained to him the predicament I was in and asked if I could buy a stand from him or if he knew where I could get one. Jeff stopped what he was doing and starting looking around the store. After about 15 minutes he found a slightly broken and used stand back in their production area that seemed like it would work. I offered to rent it from him but he said I could take it for free and just bring it back after the trade show. I did so and it worked out great, even being a bit beat up. Yesterday, I returned the stand to Jeff and offered to buy it from him. Since it was used, slightly damaged, and not something they needed; he gave it to me without charge. I don't know Jeff or anyone at Central Graphics. I've never been a customer of theirs. I'm in the process though of starting up a small business in the area. And simply based on the stellar service CG offered to a stranger walking in off the streets, I intend to become a customer of theirs as soon as possible.

Recently a friend recommended Western Reserve Designer Fabrics to reupholster my current furniture in the fabric I loved so much. They did a great job, and having this fabric in my house is a dream come true. It takes about 8 weeks to get on their schedule, then another week or two for the work to be completed. It is pricey, but you get exactly what you wanted.

Just recently, I ordered two new front tires because the soft rubber on the tires wore down after only a couple of hundred hours of use. The employees have always been super and have that small-town friendliness, which makes the sale feel very comfortable. I highly recommend these folks. just one word of caution. I have used this company twice to ship items from Young's auction in Akron. The last shipment that…read moreI just received will be the last shipment. If I need a shipper again there, I will try out the other option listed on the auction site, The UPS Shop, instead. This company flat ripped me off on shipping. They charged me $66.47 for a package of marbles that could have easily fit in and shipped in a medium USPS flat rate priority box. I even said that to the hoarse-voiced lady on the phone. She claimed that it wouldn't fit and that it was too heavy to ship that way. It was 9 lbs. I have had those same boxes packed full of heavy reloading lead shipped to me. Bottom line is that it should not have been a dollar over $45 at the very most including their fee, and I ship all the time. They also did an extremely poor packaging job. There was barely any cushion for vintage marbles. Two of the bags of marbles were busted open and all over in the box by the time I got them. The obviously repurposed packaging materials also smelled like mold. Absolutely pathetic. Never again.

I actually went to a UPS Shop last night and was told shipping and packaging would be $65. That didn't seem quite right, but for a UPS store it would be correct! I got up this morning and went to the Ship Center and watched my items get boxed up, added packaging to protect during shipping and my price out the door was $38.63. They also have a rewards program!! They have Penske trucks for rental! I've used that service as well! Also they make Banners, shirts, and any goodies you may need to promote your business! I've also used this service! All of this to say ~ I won't waste my Friday evenings after the Ship Center has closed going to UPS thInking it might be convenient this one time. IT definitely was not! I'll get up on Saturday and go to a business that cares!
