Her office runs like a finely oiled machine. She keeps appointment times. Her office staff call you back quickly and they care as much as Dr. Adelman does. Her staff is fabulous just like Dr. Adelman! Dr. Adelman bends over backwards to ensure her patients get the best possible care and in the most timely manner. If I was old enough to see her, I would. I asked, but she only takes geriatric patients and I'm not quite old enough yet. But she helped me find a great doctor in the same network. She cares deeply and she listens. In my case, inaccurate information was submitted regarding insurance authorization, which delayed access to treatments that should have been eligible for coverage. The office appeared understaffed, with administrative and clinical responsibilities seemingly handled by the same individual, which contributed to confusion and inconsistent information. When I sought assistance resolving the authorization issues, I was told that I was "on my own" and that the matter was not the office's responsibility. Rather than helping navigate the process or advocating on my behalf, I felt my concerns were dismissed. Most concerning was the lack of support when barriers to treatment arose. Patients depend on their healthcare providers to help coordinate care and communicate with insurers when medically necessary treatments are prescribed. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I was ultimately advised to seek care elsewhere. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

I spoke to Aetna about how to get service, and the person on the phone said she was disappointed that so many providers were claiming to accept new patients but often not making many appointments available for new patients. Again, they were assigned me as a patient, but talk to me like I'm a second class citizen.

I called the office of Dr. Wong at around 4:00 p.m. and the person I was talking with told me that she will immediately inform Dr. Wong to request for a prescription. I was feeling really bad, so I asked the person in the office to please ensure that I get the prescription soonest. She even told me " There is no reason that you will not get the prescription today". After an hour and a half and several calls I made to the pharmacy, there was no prescription sent from the doctor's office. The office of Dr. Gace Wong was already closed. I had to find another doctor who can attend to my need. Luckily, I was able to get the prescription from one of the doctors I called.

My initial visit with Dr. Marsh was via Disney Pics/TV for an employment physical. This referral did not require me to select him as my primary care physician but like most in my same situation, it was an option I welcomed. A short time later, my husband joined me and we've never looked back. In fact, we've left CA a few times over the years, (due to career in college football) we remained in Dr. Marsh's care; it was well worth the expense & time involved in doing so. While we're certain there are many doctors in southern California that provide excellent medical care, we knew of no one that provided their patients the ultimate healthcare benefit: how best to manage your own recurring medical issues. My husband and I found that after confirming a common and/or chronic diagnosis, were not only provided the best treatment but given ways to avoid or handle recurrences. With Dr. Marsh, we both feel confident in our ability to be active participants in managing our healthcare. The education/information he offered was new to us & very empowering ... we are eternally grateful!! It has been over a year since I have been to this office and amazingly enough the front office staff has hit a new low. It seems they are trained to shuffle you off to someone other than your doctor. When I go to the doctor I want to see the DOCTOR!!! I hope the horrible person at the front desk never has anyone treat her as badly, dismissively and rudely as she treated me. I don't understand why this practice hires such coldly, rude people who's only job seems to be keeping you from communicating with anyone with some knowledge or seeing your doctor.

If you push him for care (testing) the curated nice tone of voice and nice guy mask drops and he has no problem asserting his MD power over you to make you feel small and disarm you to feel powerless. Anyone that gives him a good review must not have chronic illness and goes for routine annual exams or a flu. You can tell he is just an MD employee for Facey. Caring more for protocols and quotas than individual plan of care. Facey the medical group is priority over the patient care. Office staff was fair. Witnessed them a few times talking negatively about patients.

Looking for a doctor who dismisses your pain as no big deal and you end up in ER with emergency hernia surgery? Or better yet, a doctor who tells you pain medication for acute pancreatitis "will only make your pain worse," when WebMd, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland clinic, Harvard and NIH say the first thing to do is manage the pain, then fast or eat a limited diet? He's definitely your man. But, if you're looking for a doctor to be a human being, not a sadist, not a robot, but someone who listens and cares? Go find anyone else with a pulse.
