In the summer, when the weather is nice, Garland Resale is also open on Sundays to capture foot traffic. There is something here for everyone. Lots of clothes for women including dresses in all sizes, tons of boots, and outfits based on the season. The shop also has an assortment of jewelry including earnings from local artisans. During my visit, the owner explained where various items from nail polish to art were made. This is definitely the place to get a gift for a friend since there are even cute cards for sale. The sales clerks were really helpful but made me a bit nervous to look around. I'm not going to pocket a $40 bobby pin...I'm going to buy it, 2 to be exactly. One for me and one for BF's mom. They weren't quite $40, more like $20 but they are very high quality. Apparently she hands makes all of them and decorates the pins from different antique pieces so what you get are unique, high quality hair pins. There were SO many different colors and kinds.
