Per his treating physicians, he ended up dying as a result of a massive brain bleed due to a Heparin overdose sometime during the night. One of the doctors indicated that there could have been an issue with communication between the computer in his room and the pharmacy. When asked by the doctors, who were both very remorseful, what I wanted, I said I wanted to know what went wrong to assure this error doesn't happen to anyone else. They stated the matter would be reviewed and that the resulting information would be shared with me. To this day, no one has reached out to me. I have been in contact with both Patient Relations and Risk Management, both departments assuring me that someone will call me--but still no call. The care and the room upon getting to the room is very good but the wait time is horrific and unjustifiable though one of the nurses said it's been that way since Covid but I still don't understand how a "professional " healthcare system anywhere can operate in this manner. Administrative and Operational improvements are greatly needed. Hospitals should not be operating in this fashion, simply inexcusable.

All the Patients for Radiology, lab and Urgent care were seated in the same lobby maintaining distance. The waiting area was full on a weekday morning. Waited to call my name for the lab work and the wait was forever. They were extremly slow and took nearly 1 hour to be called. But lab work was quick, done in 2 minutes. RN I encountered was helpful and prompt with the care. I hardly felt a poke, she was warm and pleasant.

I could care less who is sleeping with who ladies! Once when I came in, I was quite nauseated so I told the nurse I would be in the corner in case I became sick. My watch indicated I had been waiting 65 minutes! I went to the counter and the staff were scrambling. I heard one say "We forgot about her" I was not happy.
