I'm so sorry that I needed to rate Tellini's a low score, but their "Italian" food just isn't good. It's definitely not healthy. Far too many carbohydrates & fats. The ambiance is acceptable but no Italian influences arise. The staff's service is fast & appropriate. The taste of the food simply is not correct. Granted, I lived in Italy for 15 years. I know how light in calories true Italian dishes are supposed to be. Unfortunately, Tellini's like Olive Garden Restaurants, appeal to an American palate of high calorie / low quality products, in huge volumes. There is simply no reasonable answer to why a company would portray a nation's cuisine in such an unhealthy manner. read more

Got the Tellinis sampler it literally consisted of spaghetti with a teaspoon of ragu, definitely not anywhere close to Italian, alfredo noodles with a teaspoon of ragu alfredo sauce and the other noodles with again teaspoon of ragu, bland, no flavor, no seasoning, no cheese, no nothing! My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant Saturday November 23. We both had the shrimp and chicken Alfredo. Within one hour my girlfriend was very sick throwing up and not long after that I was throwing up and had explosive diarrhea myself . We think that something was wrong with the shrimp. Good fast food, Italian style. Numerous pasta dishes, baked pasta dishes, sandwiches, soups, salads and pizza. They have a drive through or order online. I've had their Greek or Caesar salads with grilled chicken. Their baked ziti or baked spaghetti with marinara sauce is good, pasta a bit overcooked and not Al dente, but their marinara sauce is good and vegetarian, their baked pasta dishes are baked with mozzarella cheese. Friends had the lasagna, meat sauce was tasty, needs some ricotta cheese and fresh parmigiana reggiano. The Italian casserole is delicious with ziti pasta, marinara sauce with broccoli and tomatoes-vegetarian and good. I haven't tried their pizzas, but I'm sure they are good. RAW CHICKEN - be careful if you order a chicken dish! Make sure the center is cooked! I got a Chicken Parm today and bit into it only to get a mouth full of uncooked Chicken. You may not be familiar with this small chain. If you love Italian food, stay away. This is NOT Italian. It's more like an American spaghetti shop, or maybe a Sbarro upgrade. That said, it's not bad food, fair prices, staff is friendly and fast and every experience has been pleasant enough. Other than being way too cheap on bread, it's a nice little meal. And one of the few restaurants to still offer Mr. Pibb, so it gets one star just for that in my book. But it's not remotely Italian. If you pronounce it "Eye-Talyun", it might be pretty good for you. But if you have opinions on how marinara sauce ought to be made, don't be fooled by the name. read more

Not only is the food terrible. The employees are not capable at all. The restaurant needs to revisit their menu. I tried ordering the "zesty Roma Marinara", as listed on the menu. Apparently this does not exist because the little girl attempting to take my order was incredibly confused, even after I pointed it out to her on the menu. She had to have the help of the manager, who told her to put down "spaghetti", and then proceeded to tell me "I've never heard anyone order it that way". I'm sorry, how have you never heard anyone order something that is on your menu? Not surprisingly, what was then given to me at the table was not what the "Zesty Roma Marinara" had described, instead pasta noodles with what was probably Ragu canned sauce. The waitstaff was also rude and sarcastic. Will never be back. Overall bad experience and bad food. read more

I LOVE Fazolis, and saw this place and figured id give it a shot. Not so great off the bat. They couldnt understand my order. I wanted to have ziti instead of spaghetti. I wanted half marinara half Alfredo. I get my meal w/o meatballs, I asked for meatballs. I also got half ziti half fettuccine. Portions werent big at all. I was still hungry after. Only ONE breadstick, where Fazolis is unlimited. $8 and change for JUST the meal. Wasnt too impressed. read more

Don't let the pretentious reviews about "real" Italian food scare you away. It's a decent restaurant with decent people working in it, and sorry if the average person doesn't always have the kind of money to dine in an expensive high end Italian place. Maybe some people actually want a larger portion of food that didn't cost them a whole paycheck. I'm not into paying more for a small nibble of whatever dish I want because the sauce was made from the tears of virgin orphans or something. Would give this place zero stars if it were an option, but not because of the food. Almost every time I'm in town from Louisiana I try to visit here. But after my trip tonight, I WILL NOT be coming back to this establishment. My order was taken, and the amount totaled to $27.36. I got to the drive thru window, and paid. When given my receipt, I signed and wrote the total amount on the bottom line. I DID NOT leave a tip. Thankfully, the card that I used sends me text alerts to my phone with the authorized transaction amount and the place of business. Somehow, the text showed $32.83 as the amount to be processed. Once receiving the food, before leaving, I got their attention to inform them of this error. The manager at the time came to the window and I showed her my receipt as well as the bank text alert. She closed the window and fiddled with the computer for a few moments. She came back and said to check with my bank, because the computer "didn't show anything". Out of all of the transactions I've made with this card, I have never had the wrong amount sent to me in my text alerts. Ever. It was not a bank error. The lady decided to give herself a 20% tip, that was not given to her. I did the math. It was only $5 and some change, however this is not okay. You do not mess with people's money, and I can only imagine how many other people have had this happen, but we're not fortunate enough to catch it. I will not be coming back here ever, and I'd advise any future patrons to closely watch what amount is charged at this place. read more

Tellini's is an Italian fast foodish kind of restaurant. It's not as fancy as Olive Garden but better than Taco Bell. There food is mostly Italian fair with pasta's, soup, salad's,and sandwiches. Garlic bread sticks are available with every meal and they will give you as many as you can eat, just gotta ask. The restaurant is very similar to the Italian chain Fazoli's. The atmosphere is nice with some soft music playing in the background. There are a couple of TVs but they are rarely on. Lunch time can be a little busy and Sunday will be packed, but any other time will be no problem. read more
