MTS Business & Residential Phone Services - Error message that comes up every stinking time

MTS Business & Residential Phone Services

MTS is the worst! I just want to add MTS on here with no particular location…read more They are cocky, and overcharge for services! Whether you are looking for home phone or business their rates are so much more expensive then what you can get at shaw. if you need an addition jack mts charges $55 for business rate! With shaw $0 amount! of course I found out after my incident! I have booked an appointment for a business phone line, the sale rep made the appointment date and on that day when the tech came in he told me to reconnect the line cost me $137 but the sale rep NEVER told me this over the phone otherwise I would have checked with shaw first!!!! The tech didnt have to do any work since there was an existing jack on the wall and tested my phone and plugged it in and it was already working and that cost me ($137 +your 1st month's bill and taxes) for him to come in? I was very upset and call their customer service line, they did nothing and wouldn't do anything. Then I emailed them online hoping to get some answers instead got an email from them telling me to call 941-6800 instead. Argh... they keep passing me around!!! So I called that #, no answer each time just asking you to leave messages, it took awhile to chase that customer care rep as I missed their call and I would have to leave more messages and finally we've talked, discussed my issue and she said she will find out what happened. 1 week after she called back and told me the same old thing that there's nothing she can do for me! WTF! What a waste of my time! Give it 10 years they'll go out of business, they know Shaw's rate is cheaper but MTS doesnt care and won't do anything about it. Slowly everyone will be leaving mts for Shaw.

The reception is also so bad i have down my street to get service . Fck MTS

A year later I made it my primary home number. 2012 I added another number 2015 I added another number 2017 I added a toll free number so that my kids can call me whenever they want without having to pay LD This year I added my cell as a new number and only use data to make calls on my cell number with them. Added a US number about 2 months ago as well to communicate with a friend easier. That friend also has now 3 US numbers with Les NEVER EVER were there any issues that are mention-able. I was always available (that I know) and when my system acts up I get an email notification that I am offline, usually due to me playing with my phone system and buggering it up. I can only recommend les.net as a great provider. Joe

I have used les.net for 3 years now for my home phone and for testing PBX's as I turn them up. It is a very intuitive front-end for an asterisk box that allows for realtime changes. I had to switch from their service since calls began to fail on the fax line and calling US TF numbers started to fail (knocked my alarm out for a month). I decided to port to Vitelity who I have used for multiple consulting engagements with small businesses, they costs slightly more (14%) but have people who answer the phone and high quality service. When I submitted the port out I received a FOC of 2 weeks out, the next day all my DIDs began to ring to a generic les.net error. I opened a ticket with them and they let me know they disabled service since I was leaving them. I opened multiple trouble tickets and called them with no response. So, now I am on Vitelity with no problems after the port went through... just taught me a lesson about using small, no-name provider with no escalation path and no recourse for unethical behavior.

When you live in Winnipeg, it's nice having a car starter when the temperature is -40°C in the winter before you factor in the windchill. I followed suit. I had no idea how to install a remote car starter. You can buy the kit and do it yourself if you are savvy. I had a knowledgeable male staffer lead me the way to the selection of car starters. Once I chose the one that suited my needs, he booked an appointment to have my car starter installed. It took a couple of hours to have it installed. I ended up dropping off my car and then waiting for it by having lunch at an eatery that is sadly gone. It had the best spaghetti pie that I have ever had. I was pleased with my car starter. The left button started my car. I could be a few blocks away and it would start without fail. It was cool and much needed when it was frigid outside. I had an outdoor parking spot where I lived, so starting my car remotely was nice. I was recently at a spa to get a manicure while on vacation. Advance Electronics was across the street, which brought back fond memories of owning my first car and having a remote car starter installed. Since I moved back to Markham, I have never had the need for a car starter. It would be a nice perk, but it's not as cold here to merit shelling out for one. (321)
