I drove down here from Perris because they used to do a great job. It used to be $50 they would shampooing my seats and they would wipe down the inside and my car would always look great. This last time I paid $70 (I understand the price change with covid) but my car looked like crap and not to mention the water stain left around the entire back side of both my front seats. When I first opened my door I had to go ask for a rag because they left the middle console and diver door completely untouched. When asked "do you guys not wipe down the inside at all anymore?" The guys response "oh yeah to be completely honest I totally forgot to do that" after I had already given a $25 tip. Went in for a $22 car wash and it's now costing over $600! Don't bother talking to the GM. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before I went, but I had gone there for years when I lived in the area a few years back. NEVER AGAIN! Don't even chance it! I was surprised the first time I went and they don't actually clean the inside of your car just vacuum real quick. My car would always get done quick and look decent when done. I have discovered this car wash and have used them several times. I have found them to do a thorough wash. They have a menu of options of the type of wash and drying. I usually do the wash where they clean inside and also dry after the wash. So far, I have been pleased. I recommend this area wash for your car or truck. read more

My wife took her car in a few weeks ago. I got in and asked her if she had it cleaned. She said yes. Horrible inside job seriously vacuum must be broken. Ugh let it go. Today I take her car in to see maybe they had an off day. Yeah right it was worse then before. What a waste of 40 bucks. I've been coming here since I got my drivers license at 16, and up until now had been happy with my service. Unfortunately, after interacting with the manager for the first time today, I will NOT be returning. My car came out dirty, without the dressing I paid extra for, and with rivers of dirt where it ought to have been wiped. I addressed all this with the manager as best as I could through his constant defensive interruptions- which made it evident he knows a lot less about cleaning cars than a man in his position ought to- and showed him how easily the mess should have been removed with the simple hand towel dry they advertise. I even demonstrated how the mess they left came off with a single light swipe of my finger. After telling me how wrong I was about the quality of the job, and how I should have expected less (yes, he really said this) he did at last concede they could rewash it despite the fact he and I disagreed whether it merited that rewash. I explained I didn't have time for that today, and asked if there was any other alternative he could offer. I would've been happy with a coupon or refund, but he was unwilling to come up with a solution and marched off. I told him I was sorry, but with this kind of treatment he'd lost a customer, to which he responded by yelling as he marched away "have fun yelping!" I suppose if I'd checked yelp, I would've realized that low quality car cleaning and highly rude treatment of customers are the hallmarks of this establishment, but the best I can do at this point is add my experience to this clear pattern of shoddy work and impoliteness. read more

The automatic car wash left chip's in my hood! I cancelled my service and they still charged me the next month! Before I noticed all of this, I inadvertently subscribed to the monthly wash. When I called the manager to request a refund he was not in the office. I left a message and waited 3 businesses for no call back. I happened to be in the area of the car wash and stopped in and the manager on duty gave me cash as my refund. I write this with great sadness and disappointment; after 15 years as a very satisfied weekly/bi-weekly customer of Rancho Car Wash on Rancho California Rd for all of our vehicles, I am sad to report that this will be my last visit to this business; and the recent substantial increase in prices (20-25%) only adds salt to this open wound. Over the past several years, things have 'happened' (they broke off the radio tuning adjustment knob of my Chevrolet) and I never complained. There were specific passenger compartment panels that they consistently did not clean or dust (maybe the steering wheel was too distracting), but I never complained. Last week I paid for the super shine package (~$30 inc. tax) and the vehicle was still dirty when they handed me my keys. I pointed this out to Humberto who directed me to inform the attendant upon arrival that the car was dirty, had pollen or bird droppings on it, etc. and it would be taken care of. Today I pointed out the bee pollen and bird droppings to the attendant, and when I paid the clerk I was surprised to see that I had been charged an additional $10 to 'clean' my car; that rounded up the car wash for my Toyota to $33.99 (see attached photo of receipt). Before departing, I spoke with Humberto and shared my experience today and overall observations of their decline. I am not asking for a car detail, just a car wash, but I won't be returning to this business again. I have been coming here for several years and am surprised to see it ranked low. Yesterday, I brought in my Tahoe, which was a mess inside, basically a whole summer's worth of dirt and sand and stains on my interior. I bought the $25 wash. The outside was spotless and shiny as usual. The interior was AMAZING! It looked like I had received a full blown $100 detail. Honestly I was shocked at the attention to detail: vacuumed everywhere, immaculate. All trim was immaculate. My experience with the other car washes in town is that they make the outside look nice but they do a poor job of the interior: They don't get the gunk out of the drink holders and door pockets, they don't vacuum between the seat and console or under the seats, they do a 1 man 5 minute job. WARNING...I wish I had the option to rate negative stars. My experience at Rancho Car Wash would be Negative 5 Stars! Arrived at Rancho Car Wash without a cracked windshield on my new 2017 Nissan Armada. After my vehicle was washed there was a 8" crack at the top of the driver's side. We contacted David Lawrence, the business owner, immediately and was SHOCKED at his arrogance and condescending response. Mr. Lawrence refused to acknowledge that our vehicle arrived without damage. He repeatedly pointed to the edge of the windshield where the crack started and said there was "rock chip" that caused the crack. He could not prove a rock caused the damage, he just told me to consult a professional. When I asked how a windshield professional could prove it was a rock and not any part of his washing equipment that caused the chip he turned to walk away from me and said, "I am done with this." His condescending nature and arrogance really came out as he told me they washed over 300 vehicles a day and if they were in the business of damaging vehicles people would be lined up to make claims. He focused on the majority and refused to look at the possibility that this was the exception and not the rule. In the end Mr. Lawrence turned and walked away from me, refusing to speak with me any further about the damage. YELP users, please read on, this is important! In response to Mr. Lawrence's comment to how many vehicles he washes a day I asked him if he would be concerned about me posting in YELP about my interaction with him. Mr. Lawrence said, "I don't care about YELP." "People with common sense know that YELP is for whiners." This is NOT TRUE!. Mr. Lawrence your YELP responses to positive reviews not only shows you are arrogant and condescending but also a liar, with no common sense because you are on YELP as well. Brought my truck to get washed and the inside cleaned. They did a very bad job. The outside driver side of the truck still dirty as for the inside the stuff put on the dash and doors was sticky. The stuff I had in the center console they trough in the back seat didn't even put it back. They also lost 2 of my console mats they saying it wasn't there. I paid $65 for a shitty service. The manager was no help at all it was as shitty as the service I received. If you want shitty service this the place to go and if you want good service this is not the place to go to. Since when does a car wash not include the interior being wiped down? I've been coming here for a while and I keep my car pretty clean so it was hard to notice that the interior wasn't being wiped down. I came this morning to get my fiancé's car done and told them to make sure they wiped down the dash and door panels because with two kids, the doors get pretty dirty. The guy that checks you in tells me that they don't do that. They only vacuum and wipe the windows down and exterior wash for the "Full Service" car wash. I had to get a $40 package to get the dash and doors wiped down.... So the above review was written as I was waiting for the car. I get the car back now and there are still dirty smudges on the door railing and the center console cup holders are soaked and not even wiped down. I tell the kid who gives me the car about the smudges and he says he can't get it out and walks away. I call over the guy in charge and he takes the car back around to fix the problem. I've spent now an hour waiting for the car to be finished. I finally get the car back and start driving home and notice they didn't even wipe down the steering wheel. This experience was terrible. I don't know who is running the show over there but something needs to be done to get this car wash back on track. Maybe random spot checks from the manager on their employes work. I don't know. I hope someone there reads my comment and does something about the mess over there. On the up side I appreciate the manager who came and tried to make the wrong right. I wanted to get my car waxed (to surprise my husband when he gets home from his business trip) and a basic wash for my son's car at the same time. When they finished my son's car, I let the manager know we were leaving and would be back for my car before they closed (thinking this should allow enough time for the wash and wax). When we got into my son's car...they took all his quarters from his change! Really?! I feel silly for mentioning this, but if they are bold enough to steal money from a car, what else did they take from his car? And what about mine that's still there?! When we got back for my car, I was looking for the manager because of the stolen change and noticed that my car looked dirty still. I paid almost $30 for a car wash here. They did not vacuum my trunk at all. They barely vacuumed the inside. It appeared they spot vacuumed it and they did not do under the seats or the sides. They did NOT wipe down anything at all inside. I am not sure what I paid $30 for?? I was so disappointed and was really looking forward to a nice clean inside. I am new to the area and I can't seem to find a good decent priced car wash. Back in Orange County, you could get a full service car wash, inside and out cleaned, for an average of $15. You could do the normal add-ons - armor all, wax, etc, for a few bucks more. Usually I find that everything is cheaper in Temecula than OC, but not in this case! This establishments machine ripped my trimming off my tail light. The assistant manager herberto said go get a quote from fiat and they would take care of it. I did just that to return in 30 minutes for the general manager Dave to laugh in my face and say that he wasn't going to fix my vehicle that his machine tore up. This is the best car wash in Temecula. The staff do a great job and they are fast and friendly. Plus, I love a car wash where I can get gas and also have my car scrubbed to perfection. There is a little market adjacent to the wash and I like it because the market sells all sorts of car goodies, and they have the best car fresheners that come in the coolest scents like the banana nut. It smells super yummy. The basic hand wash is $13.99 which isn't bad conceding it is a hand wash and I have never had to wait for an extended period time here. Long story short: I paid $5 plus tip for a dirty but dry car. I dropped by here last week to have my car washed via the $5 express wash. I thought "Hand Car Wash" meant that they were going to wash it by hand but as it turns out, it went through a machine. Uggg, I was really trying to avoid ever washing my car with machinery since when I sold my old car the fine scratches of car washes was sort of an issue and I had to get them buffed out before resale. Anyway, for $5, I thought a one-time run through the machine would be ok. Plus, I was already in line. So my car went through the machine and then they did hand dry it. To their credit, I think they hand dried it at no additional cost (except tip) since I had the express wash. However, they dried a dirty car. When I left my car still had obvious spots of bird poo on it. If I was drying a car I would have at least wiped it off with a damp rag to give the appearance of being clean.
