It's like belonging to a big, happy family. There are many events outside of services and there is always room for more events and more members. My only regret is not finding this wonderful synagogue much sooner. Dues are very reasonable too, with a variety of payment plans. Visitors are always welcome, but must be vetted first by the safety committee, so you must go to the website, templeshalommb.org and follow first time visitor directions before any service you wish to attend.

I am a Jewish believer in Jesus/Yeshua! They will not let me return to Their congregation, even…read morethough I came in peace and expressed to them that I wanted to come back on a Sabbath sit peacefully and observe. No go!! They would not let me i was a member there for a while. God has radically changed my life. I'm a walking testimony. I don't even have to preach it, I live, they are unwilling to listen, nobody will return my phone call or my text messages. Even though sometimes I might need prayer cause I'm in pain or whatever it is. I believe one of the members in May have even called the police on me at 1 time, but I'm not sure. Is that true Christianity? Is that true faith? That is wickedness, and I do not recommend Going here unless you want to be brought back into bondage. Jesus said from the cross, it is finished. He paid everything. I believe that God pulled me out of that place. It is wickedness, it is bondage, it is out of order. I would have not gone this far except that nobody returns my call. We cannot even talk reasonably or peacefully about this. If you are Christian or seeking the truth I recommend you go there one time and discern What is happening there? There's even more of it. I'm not gonna get into it right now. I\n Love the leaders there when I met them almost 20 years ago, but seemingly they turned on me and will not even speak reasonably with me. I was looking for a hotel, and for some reason Siri drove me out of the way to this synagogue. You couldn't meet a nicer bunch of people, the Rabbi, the Cantor, everyone that is there is wonderful. I really believe that God somehow brought. if you're looking for a nice synagogue with all ages of people who make you feel so welcome I suggest you give it a try and go there. I came from a mixed family of my mom being Jewish my dad Christian and my ex was a non practicing Muslim, what a mixed up family. I never felt quite like I fit anywhere so I'm not really religious, but I believe in God with all my heart soul mind and always felt my Jewishness. Like I just know that's where I belong. The strange part is, I am very shy, and at this time in my life I have no family at all. Walking into that synagogue made me feel like I had friends. I want to thank them for their kindness. If you're a practicing Jew you will love this synagogue and if you are like me coming from a family of mixed religions and 1st and 2nd generation Americans this might be the place for you.
