They all displayed a genuine concern for the public's safety and welfare. This was my first ride-along with the KPD, but in past years have observed the L.A. Sheriff's Department (LASD) on several rides. I have much respect for the LASD, however I'd have to rate the KPD much higher for how they deal with the public.

I told her that I was concern for the person well-being. After, I tried to explain my reason or logic for the wellness check, she just kept talking over me. I guess she is too lazy to get up from h from the desk to do the welless check. They work 12 hour shift, she needs to get up and walk around. We bought our home January of 2009 and since then Club Rio has become a pest every Friday, Saturday…read moreand Sunday night usually in the time frame of 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. We have exasperated with the lack of ability to live in peace in our home. We have attempted to insulate our home with sound barriers to no avail. We are forced out of our home to seek refuse in other venues several miles from our home since we are not able to to have peace. This blatant disrespect of the local citizens right "Pursuit of happiness", our family's dream of leaving peacefully and quietly on a small ranch has been denied the last three years with the allowance of continued noise violations by Club Rio. There are no CURRENT enforceable noise violations by local or county law enforcement. We have written and called the club, TABC, local surrounding cities and sheriff department and local law making officials in an attempt to work with Club Rio. We do not begrudge them the right to own their business just the excessive intolerance and obsessive desire to shake the windows in our home to the point of cracking and breaking. We have tried to work with disrespectful business owner, but our attempts to contact them have gone unanswered for 3 years.

The security officer was very friendly and made sure that everyone followed the rules (ie: phones on silent or vibrate, no phone calls, etc).. he wasn't rude or anything like that.. The staff member that helped me was very nice and was able to get me out in less than an hour!
