The shop itself is so cute and has sooo many options, different chocolates, caramelized apples, kettle corn, flavored popcorn, nuts like pistachios, croissants, and a whole bakery section. Everything looked insanely good. We ended up getting Reese's and the latte this time, but honestly I wanted to try everything. We are 100% coming back every time we're craving coffee. Chocolates seem to be overpriced and not properly concealed. They lean over to grab chocolates while their shirt rubs against the other chocolates. No hair net. They should really invest in a case and extremely long tongues. I stopped in the grab my father some chocolates and she was washing a container, loud Brittany spears music playing which was ok just a tad bit loud. Store is small quaint and clean. Kevin and I finally stopped by Temptations Chocolate Café at Valencia Town Center this weekend, and I can't believe it took us this long to try it. Kevin ordered a tea, and I ordered the Kailynn -- one of the barista favorites (iced matcha with brown sugar, vanilla, cold foam, and cinnamon). They were out of matcha at the time, so they substituted espresso instead, and I actually ended up loving it. It was warm, flavorful, and perfectly cozy for the day. One thing I really appreciated is that their menu highlights drinks that are the baristas' personal favorites. It's such a thoughtful touch and makes choosing something feel a little more personal. The atmosphere was welcoming and laid back, and the customer service was friendly. Overall, it was a sweet little stop in the middle of our day, and we're glad we finally gave it a try. A wonderful addition to the Valencia Town Center Mall. This coffee and chocolate shop is located in the patios right behind Lucille's very easy to get to. The store is fully stocked with an array of espressos, coffee, chocolates, pastries, specialty popcorn, and more. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk their coffee is delicious. We also got a drip coffee, which was freshly brewed and pure goodness. We splurged and tried a dark chocolate peanut butter cup It was heavenly. The sales associates were very friendly and helpful and informed us that all the chocolates are made in house. They have plenty of prepackaged candies in 1 pound boxes all wrapped for Christmas. Sticker shock. I am not opposed to paying for high-quality and scrumptious, delectable bites. However, I am offended at their prices. I ordered two tiny peanut butter chocolate candies (think the size of two Reesie's miniatures), and they were $6.59....$6.59! Straight robbery. The owner, Amir, was so incredibly thoughtful and helpful, and he went above and beyond to help our party offerings be the best they could be! The interior of the place was cute, but if you like chocolate with natural flavors, definitely do not come to this place. I was hoping to actually taste real raspberry, coconut, and lemon in each chocolate. And yet I was disappointed with each one. Really glad that Temptations Coffee is here at the Valencia Town Center. Their coffees and treats are all fresh and the owner is top notch. I particularly like their different toppings on their caramel apples. The different chocolates are also terrific. I'm also frustrated to see the lower star ratings based on price. It's 2024, everyone is experiencing price increases at the moment. Currently in the coffee business, coffee bean prices are almost double what they were, the price of cups and napkins are double what they were and employee cost and insurance has skyrocketed! It's located in the former Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and you can tell they haven't had the opportunity, yet, to put their own personal touch on the space. The coffee exceeded my expectations! It's rich, smooth, and loaded with flavor. I got a plain hot latte and the foam was thick and creamy. It's pricey but so are the big chain coffee places that serve coffee that tastes bitter and burned. They have a wide selection of chocolate treats and I had the dark chocolate fudge ball which was decadent. We bought some salt water taffy to take home to the family and it is buttery and delicious, doesn't have that waxy taste that so many taffies do. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful! Rather disappointing... we were excited to try this place. Coffee was good but expensive, atmosphere was a bit awkward and quiet... and customer service left much to be desired. Staff was not friendly, dismissive of questions and didn't know anything about allergens in products. My mom has a gluten allergy and no ingredient lists were available for anything.
