1. It took "recruitment specialist" Robert a full week to respond to my initial inquiry…read more 2. In his reply, Robert asked me for info. I provided answers but asked if we could schedule a call, so I could get his perspective and advice about compensation. I provided my availability. He replied but somehow ignored my question about a call. 3. I asked again about a call. By the time he responded, it was days later, and the availability I provided had passed. 4. We finally scheduled a call. I asked if he was going to be late that he notify me. 5. He was almost 10 minutes late. And then he tried to blame me for providing the wrong number, even though my phone number is listed in every email I send. 6. I asked to speak with a manager. Robert said a manager would call me. 7. Later that day, an "agency manager" named Jenny emailed me. I asked if we could chat. No response. 7. A few days later, I asked again if we could speak. Again, Jenny ignored me. 8. The next day, I followed-up again. Again, Jenny ignored me. UPDATE: Robert (who apparently is the owner and can reply quickly when he wants to) has responded to my review. He says I insisted that they find a nanny for me. That's absolutely false. All I asked for was a call to discuss compensation, after which I'd make a decision on moving forward. We never discussed compensation at all; how could I insist they find someone if they don't know my budget? Also, taking a full week to respond is not what I'd call "prompt."

This company doesn't have a license and is based out of his small one bedroom apartment. Avoid this place. Such nonsense. You would never call me back after a ton of messages, emails or texts. And how can anyone not like me if they never met me. Just be more professional.

Al llegar, me informaron que la vacante ya no estaba disponible. Ese mismo día, fui a otro lugar por un anuncio de "cajero/persona de mostrador". Después de esperar más de 45 minutos al dueño, me atendió un socio para decirme que el puesto era de mostrador de comida y que no ofrecían capacitación paga. * 03/02/26: Fui a otro lugar donde buscaban "Chicos con documentos legales warehouse de alimentos - manejar montacargas". Al llegar, el puesto no era solo para manejar montacargas, sino también para trabajo pesado en bodega. Buscaban a alguien con experiencia en ambas cosas. El anuncio no especificaba esto; de haberlo sabido, no habría ido, ya que mi fuerte es mi licencia de conducción vigente. * 13/02/26: Fui para el puesto de mesero en un restaurante italiano en Flushing (Primo Amore). El anuncio decía "Mesero con buen inglés". Mi experiencia es en catering y soy hablante nativo de inglés, por lo que asumí que calificaba perfectamente. Sin embargo, al llegar, exigían experiencia específica en comida italiana. El anuncio no mencionaba ese requisito ni que la capacitación no sería remunerada.
