Bustling yet relaxed cafe near canal Saint Martin. I found this place on yelp and it did not disappoint. The staff moves easily between french and English and kindly tolerate those of us who can't do the same. It seemed the granola was a huge hit with the regulars, but I opted for scones and a cookie. The cookie was a perfect balance of crispy outside and gooey middle and the scones were just the right way to start the day. The barista was welcoming and made espresso so delicious I had to have a second. Though the space is small, the atmosphere is friendly and open to sharing tables with strangers. There r a few nice spots on stools right near the windows where u can watch all the action and catch the morning breeze. This place is great. I made my way to it as I walked across the canal and saw some great views. A slight turn away from the canal and there was Ten Belles. The vibes inside the store were great. The servers clearly had a repertoire with many of the customers and were very friendly. I ordered a cappuccino and scones. The cappuccino was good. The flavor was strong, but it was not as thick as I am accustomed to in such shops. I believe either low-fat or reduced-fat milk may have been used. The scones however were delicious. They arrived with butter and strawberry jam and I could not get enough of them. The jam didn't have the artificial sweetness of high fructose corn syrup and the butter was soft and fresh. The scones also tasted fresh and were filling despite their small size. read more

Since I was going to be in Paris for a week, it was essential that I found the best third wave coffee for my daily cup. After trying Le Lomi at Kooka Boora (good), Coutume (decent) and La Cafeotheque (awful) I can assure you that Ten Belles is the best place to procure coffee with carefully curated selections from top roasters and skilled baristas. Apparently I had the opportunity to taste the last Telescope roasted Kenyan coffee and it was delicious, such a shame they have discontinued roasting operations. I could barely believe they carried Sight Glass from San Francisco, which roasts some of the best coffees I've ever tasted in LA, SF, Seattle or Portland. read more

Our friend, Naomi, took us to Ten Belles on our last day in Paris and this place officially became our go to coffee place in this beautiful city. Found this coffee shop via one of the Kate Spade Pinterest boards. Journeyed to it on a Saturday afternoon. The space is cute and airy, albeit small (not unusual in Paris). The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The menu is simple. I ordered a cappuccino and it arrived with the lovely little foam designs you come to expect from trendy coffee shops. It was absolutely delicious. I didn't add sugar at the request of several signs around the establishment, and after my first few sips it was obvious that sugar was not necessary. I really enjoyed my visit and would recommend Ten Belles to both coffee lovers and coffee skeptics (is that a thing?) alike. read more

Really nice coffee shop that looks like the ones you find in NYC. The atmosphere is nice, the owners really cool. The place is small though but there are some tables upstairs. We came during Christmas vacation so they didn't have a lot of food but I had 2 scones with jam and butter and I have to say it was delicious. A cute little hipster cafe in Pareé off the funky Canal Saint Martin. Be prepared for a wait so got and totally devoured a very tasty sausage roll - *apparantly the chef was ex St John? Bit pricey overall tbh (moreso than most) with my flat white but lovely little cafe and worth taking out to canal is a must. read more

Coffee is quality. Banana bread and muffin was top notch. You could call the place cute and cozy but it can also feel cramped. Def not a good place to get work done, chill for long hours, or meet people to get biz done. But if you just want to quick coffee break, it's a great place for that.
