BTW, if you do not like pork gristle, don't try it. The last dish we ordered is fish fillet in sizzling hot sauce. I'm not a fan of basa fillets and the whole dish is full of oil. Conclusion Now I understand why the line is at New Shanghai and not here. The dumplings were acceptable, the rest is pretty bad for these prices. Then we were served two glasses of water and no carafe while other tables got them. Ordered rice paper rolls, one regular beef pho and one large beef pho, and they got the order wrong as two regular pho's came out but that was fixed quickly. Pho's on the pricey side at $14 for regular, $16 for large and $1 more if you want tendons/tripe/meat balls. Rice paper rolls came out first and they're probably some of the worst rice paper rolls I've had as they're not made fresh and the paper was tough and rubbery. When the pho comes out they add the basil and bean sprouts for you so you don't get to do it yourself. There's also a trolley for hoisin and Sriracha but our trolley was missing Sriracha and when we asked for some the waitress gave us chili paste (!?!?!) and I had to point out the Sriracha on other tables to get a bottle. Thankfully the pho is pretty legit even if the large isn't really large. The eight hour broth packs good flavour, is balanced and doesn't overwhelm, but would I come back to pay $2-3 more than other places that give you more and are comparable? The staff easily accommodated our party of 4 adults and 4 young children. They were friendly and quick to serve us, and the food was fresh and flavoursome.
