I love this store. They have the nicest staff, cutest clothes, and I love all of their jewelry. Prices are super fair here, we even came on a lucky day where they were doing 20% off your entire purchase, I walked out of there buying another dress i most likely didn't need, but was too cute to resist. I also love how they support the people who make the items and give you a little bit of history on what you're buying. We enjoyed visiting this store displaying art and crafts from all over the world. I mentioned liking things made in Peru to the friendly young lady working here and she kept showing me cool stuff from this country, some of which I bought including some whole Peruvian coffee beans...very good dark roast. Best part of this store is it's a nonprofit. They have lots of beautiful artisan made crafts, if you're in the area, check them out. Every item in here says what country it's made in. We bought our daughter-in-law a giraffe wine cork that was handmade in Kenya. read more

I've always loved going to this store. The concept is beautiful and I'll always support that part of it however today makes me want to reconsider. I walked into the store and I wasn't greeted by any of the workers which is totally fine but they literally greeted everyone else. I didn't think much of it until I was looking at the jewelry, I'm looking for the perfect hoop earrings and ya'll never disappoint here. But I noticed one of the workers make a b-line towards me and when I looked up to acknowledge him, he quickly stopped and pretend to adjust items on display. I immediately felt like I was being watched and 'discreetly' followed as I walked around the store. I somehow kept seeing the same employee near by when I was looking around. I want to make note, I wasn't addressed by any of the workers or informed of any of the sales/promotions going on while I overheard every other person being informed. When I eventually went to the counter to ask about a cute plate, I asked them about the promotion I overheard because I was genuinely interested in the sale. It was a good sale tbh and I ended up making a qualifying purchase to get the free item. I understand the need to keep an eye on people to avoid theft but please don't single people out who are actual patrons of your store. Or just don't single people out. read more

The shop was lovely. I was in visiting with my family. I had walked through about half the store when a few colorful hearts near the register caught my eye. Just looked fun. I had one large and two small in my hand and went to explore the second half of the store to see if there was anything else we wanted to purchase. I was approached by a lady who asked to hold them in the front for me. Long story short, I left without purchasing them because the lady treated me as if I was a thief. I'm sure she is patting herself on the back for stopping a theft when all she did was stop a sale. These were not even pricey items. We're taking $15-20 with tax total for all three items. Irritating to say the least and it lost the shop the sale. read more

Extremely cute store and and friendly employees. Prices fall in line with the area for being a boutique. Very cute organic items ethically sourced. Store is not practising social distancing guidelines. Typically this isn't something I would mention but you literally could not move in the store with the amount of customers in it. Truthfully that's the only negative I found. To be fair I personally get bad anxiety and overwhelmed when I am too crowded so that could be a personal negative. read more

I'm never disappointed when I come here, which is not often. Best little unique finds that other stores just do not offer. Bought the best basket for the living room. It has beautiful colors and is the perfect accent to our eclectic little abode. Also got the coolest earrings made from bones. A cool imports store in the Pearl! This place has handmade goods from artists all over the world. The store is broken up into various regions/countries of the world, and showcases the typical handmade goods that come from there. They often provide a little blurb about the tradesmen or craftswomen. I believe that a portion of their sales of certain goods support these artists in impoverished parts of the world. Now, I've traveled around the globe a bit, and have seen where these goods come from, and met the people that make these items. I know what these people charge, which is a fraction of a fraction of a percent of what Ten Thousand Villages is charging, but it's a nice store, and the clerks are friendly. You're not in the Kalahari, don't expect to pay Masai prices. They sell a lot of cool items that you stick around your home to dust later. Lots of tchotchkes to take up space on a shelf. They have some jewelry, handmade soaps, and clothes too. If you show up on the weekend, you can often get a sampling of their fair trade grown coca. It's a great place to check out. read more

Awesome shop! Found lots of Christmas presents here. Staff was very informative and friendly and the prices are great. Good location.

Good selection of items from across the world. Many different price points are available; it is a good place to come for hostess gifts. I visited on a cold morning, the day of the Tamale festival. Customers were being greeted with offers of hot coffee, a very nice touch. I would rate this store a little higher, but I have seen many of these items at other places, and though they have a good inventory, I'd prefer to see some items that were truly unique. read more
