As a new mom, I was very nervous about sending my 6 month old to an at home daycare or facility. My husband and I were referred to this location because another TLC location was full. We toured the facility and I immediately loved the space. It gave me 90's nostalgia of a small school setting. It took my son some time to adjust as we had enrolled him around Christmas, but after we pushed through we really saw all of the benefits! TLC Parker has brought more structure to his daily schedule and he is much more sociable whenever he sees other fellow children. All of the staff are amazing and you can feel that they really care for your children. I am so happy to have him enrolled here. read more

I give this place a 5 star since it has been good to us and most of all great for my 3 year old son that started preschool. He's been going there about a month now and he's always looking forward to it. That's a HUGE sign for us that this place was a good fit for him. The teachers are nice and they communicate very well with me. The site supervisor Ms. Cecilia has been awesome from the beginning and has been very supportive. I've read a couple of negative reviews, but for us it has been the complete opposite and has been a positive since day one. We started taking him part time to try it out and make sure that he was happy, comfortable and learning since that's one of our main things that we were looking for. I absolutely love TLC Parker and so does my little one! All of the staff are caring and friendly and I know that my daughter is well taken care of there. They do activities at the preschool level that my daughter is proud to bring home, I know is actively making her smarter, and I love watching the progress she's made. She's gone there since she was 9 months and she's 2 1/2 now and she ADORES each one of her teachers and knows them by name. As most parents know choosing a daycare preschool for your little one can be both exciting and scary. We looked at a few different ones in the area and decided to enroll our son here while still in the infant stage. He has been attending TLC Parker now for a few years and we are beyond blessed with the care they have provided for him. he loves coming home and sharing his day and what he learned. Mrs. Cecilia has a heart of gold and treats all the kids as if they were her own. The teachers are also wonderful and really have made a positive impact on our son. I love, love all the teachers at TLC on Parker. When my son started earlier this year, it was hard to leave him. They always made me at ease, comfortable, and would even give me follow ups when I called to check on him throughout the day. My son is learning so much and def has picked up on so much since starting TLC. I'm amazed at all our their patience and love for the kids. I always recommend TLC to other parents. I'm surprised no one has written a review for this place yet. Two months ago I started taking my 2 boys here. It was the first time someone other then VERY close friends or family has watched them. (Yes I'm that mom) I am super picky about the care of my children. So with our business getting busier and busier I was finding it very hard to resist daycare any longer. I viewed a lot of daycares and my husband and I decided on TLC on Parker. The first day I dropped them off my oldest son (3) walked right in and sat down, waved good bye and joined in. My youngest (2) screamed and cried as the teacher tried to distract him while I left. Of course as I walked away my tears started going. I called 4 times that day checking in on them. The staff was so nice and supportive. When I picked them up, they were both so happy and telling me all about their day. Really it was the cutest thing ever! The BEST part is that the next day I dropped them off and they both got excited when we pulled into the parking lot. Ran into the the class. Both kissed me and waved good bye and joined right in with circle time. Everyday has been like that since. I can't tell you enough how happy I am with TLC. My son has been going to TLC for a few years now and I am very pleased with the staff and accomodations. The staff are all very friendly and excellent with the children. TLC has a few locations within Tracy, but I can only speak from my experience at the Parker site. They are not only a daycare center but they also have a preschool on site. My son attended their preschool program and it was excellent! He thoroughly enjoyed the learning environment they provide. Now that he is in school full time, TLC provides transportation to and from his school, which is very helpful for my family. TLC also has a summer camp that is well thought out and planned with different themes each week. Anyone looking for a great daycare center will not be disappointed in this one. Our two children have been attending Tender Loving Care for the past four months. It was a rough start for my daughter, since she is two and struggles with transitions, but they worked hard to make her feel welcome and loved. Now when I go to pick them up, she doesn't want to leave! I love that they have structure to their programs, even in the infant room. I don't feel like I'm dropping them off just to be "babysat" while we are at work; I feel as though they are learning and growing with each visit. The staff at TLC is wonderful. My son loves coming to Tender Loving Care. Everyone who works here is really nice, you can tell they care about the kids and want the best for them. When I found Tender Loving Care it was my son's first time going to school and I was nervous but now I feel so comfortable leaving him there because I drop him off and he's happy and when I pick him up he's happy. They offer a night out for the kids to come and my son told me, basically begged me that he wanted to go so I took him. My daughter's time at TLC was one of the worst experiences for our family. I have a very active 4 year old daughter. When I brought her to TLC I expressed to them that she has a very rough time taking naps, and they explained that they would work with her. From the beginning things went bad. I had forgotten to pack her a change of clothes, and she had an accident at school. Without even talking to me about it I found a copy of my contract in her backpack with the portion that states I must pack a backup set of clothes highlighted that day. I understand that it was my fault for forgetting to pack her a set of clothes, but the lack of compassion for realizing that sometimes parents make mistakes upset me. My daughter received numerous "red apples" for not listening and playing at nap time. I am against the green, yellow, and red card system but never said anything because that is their system, and they are allowed to use it. I began to get upset when the red apples started affecting her attitude. She would come home everyday telling me she was a bad girl, and couldn't do anything right. I started to feel black listed by the staff, and was not even greeted when bringing my daughter every morning. My daughter told me that one of her teachers Ms. Beverly was telling my daughter that she didn't want to see her face anymore. I approached Ms. Beverly one morning to express that my daughter was starting to be affected by her behavior marks, and I wanted to see what I could do at home to assist them at school with her. I was told by Ms. Beverly that maybe I needed to look at what I was doing at home that was causing her behavior. I explained to her that I was a teacher, and I would never talk to one of my parents that way. She replied" and how do you think I'm coming at you, aggressively?" I replied yes that was exactly how she was coming across and she replied" well lady, I don't know what to tell you then." I immediately took my daughter, and had to call in sick for work that day because I didn't want her in that environment anymore. I called the director at their Parker ave location who profusely apologized about the behavior displayed by her staff. She immediately enrolled her at her location. My daughter lasted 2 weeks before I was told that they had done all they could do, and she was still refusing to nap and playing while others are sleeping. I understand that she should not be distracting other kids at nap time, but if I'm working any paying you to help take care of my child for me you should try everything you can to help her instead of saying, well you have to take her bc she won't take a nap. I had to leave my class, and come get her early. The director told me that Macie could keep coming as long as I picked her up everyday at 12 before nap time. This is not possible since I am a teacher, and have my students till 3 everyday. There was only 2 weeks left in the school year so I had to juggle childcare around. Luckily my mother in law was able to watch her for one week, but my husband and I had to use sick leave for the remaining days. While leaving I also asked for the remaking amount that I had paid them for that week since she was leaving mid week. She told me of course, but she didn't have cash then, but would call me when she had it. Still have not heard a word from her. I feel very guilty that I put my daughter in this situation for as long as I did. No four year old should ever have a care provider tell them they don't want to see their face. If you have a completely obedient child they will probably do just fine there, but if you have a child that sometimes tries to test the limits you might want to look for another place. read more

My girls have been attending tender loving care at the Parker location for about a year and a half, and we have absolutely loved it! My girls enjoy going to preschool everyday. They absolutely LOVE their teachers!! And you can tell the teachers love their students. Truly recommend this for anyone looking for an amazing preschool. read more

My children have been going to Tender Loving Care on Parker for over two years now. My little girl started out in the baby room, went to the preschool room when she turned two and just started going to pre-k a few weeks ago. My son is still in the baby room and has been since he was about 4 months old and he will be moving to the preschool room when he turns 2, which is soon! I love the teachers. I can honestly not say enough good things about them. The teachers in all of the rooms are so incredibly patient, after being with these kids all day long they are still very kind when we show up to pick the kids up. My kids are handfuls and my youngest has a biting problem. They have been working WITH me for the past couple weeks to help correct this behavior. Everything that my children go through, they help me get the kids past the phase. You guys, this isn't just a daycare, they teach the children and help them become great little people! I absolutely trust every teacher there, 100%. I stand by my review I wrote a few years ago and could keep gushing about how amazing they are there. read more

Everyday she comes home with a new project that she did in class and just goes on telling me all the new things she's learning .
