It hard to ask for a better setting. Lastly, they use the Top Tracer golf app which has lots of games, tools, and tracking to help you improve your game. The pricing from what I understand is very competitive as well. There is a refreshment bar inside with snacks and drinks, including adult beverages. There is also a modest pro shop and all staff are kind and friendly. Parking can fill up quickly on nice days, but that just shows how popular the park is. Once you're set up, it's such a relaxing place to spend the day together as a family. We always leave feeling recharged and grateful to have such a gem right here in Lacey. Just fair warning, dogs are not allowed at the beach (on the gravel) but can be walked technically on the paved grounds and on the grass. It's a pretty small lake but has lots of grass and places to sit. Just gotta get there early if you want a good spot. Also no lifeguard is on duty there.

What a wonderful little park, nestled into the neighborhood - a great place to take the family…read more I happened upon this little gem a number of years ago when my wife was at an appointment and I needed to "kill" some time with the kids. I searched for nearby parks and this one popped up. I am super glad that we went there, as we have been back countless times!! They have a good selection of play equipment for a variety of ages and kinesthetic movements (slides, climbing toys, a large spinning toy, monkey bars, balance beams, and swings). The centerpiece of the play area is a large lions mountain-type slide. The kids have to literally climb up the "rock side" to get to the top. Granted, that's a wee bit challenging for some of the youngsters, and their adults may need to help boost them up and spot them from underneath. But the pay-off is great! A good view from the top and a tall, long, straight slide down!! There also is an animal footprint rock path that is pretty cool. Each rock (they're low to the ground and pretty flat so it's safe) has the footprinted imprinted on them and go in a large "S-shape." Good for balance and for identifying wildlife. Additionally, there are basketball hoops, tennis courts, and a walking path. There is a fair amount of picnic tables available - including a covered pavilion that can be rented out for parties. New in the last year or so is a water feature where kiddos (and adults) can cool off in the hot summer days. Lastly, there's a huge open field for just general running and plays and games. The biggest challenge that we've found is the "Lion Hunt." Supposedly (according to the sign by the playground) there are 11 Lions hidden around the park. Some are statues, some are carvings, etc. So far, after much looking, we've only found like 4 of them! Hmm? You'll have to check it out ... a great park, in a safe neighborhood, with lots to do. You can't go wrong!

I think they are just b*tches." I may be overwhelmed, but never once am I rude. It takes about a second grade level to decipher the difference. Day in and day out, I am spending time just making everyone else around me happy for the holidays. I don't know where this sh*t comes from. I have not experienced such female venom in my entire life, and I speak as the party girl who went home with your boyfriend back in the 90s. Now I am a mommy. And I am raising girls to be bada!!es in a world where their civil rights hang in the balance. Why the actual F am spending a good chunk of change where they treat me like a nuisance? Furthermore, by a specific demographic of women who are better off than say many others in our country.() I do my due diligence in this community. I vote, am active in the union, and speak to legislators about improving our schools. I am also nursing my senior RESCUE dog of 15 years to certain death. Like... what is your problem? What the F did I do to you? Why am I justifying the need for basic human respect when you are in a service position? I don't need you to kiss my , but how about you don't meet my questions with a stone cold glare when my children are learning how to socialize with adults? I asked for help from a nice male customer to avoid Mean Girl Mentality. He offered to help on the section where someone has to man the ropes. I told him the girl in front is so rude and cold, I am not comfortable asking her for anything. He offered to do it for us. Perhaps a white man can solicite a more appropriate customer service attitude than a mom who is raising two liberal girls who want to get comfortable with extreme sports ... (Newsflash, she was nicer to him). I will tell you what, I am sick and tired of young women treating me like sh*t. And I don't know why but I certainly won't spend this amount of money where customer service makes it a point to make me feel unwelcome. I found it to be a great deal. Miles showed up around and taught us a lot! He was very knowledgeable and patient. Everything is in very good shape. We got to try bouldering, auto belay, and top roping. Also got a tour of their gym, which includes a lot of climbing-specific equipment along with tradition gym equipment. The place is very spacious but there did seem to be a lot of families on the weekend, so a little crowded near the auto belay. Not a knock, just something to be aware of when timing your visits. They have a lot of events and theme nights too. It's just a really cool place, hoping I can build some muscles so I'm not so sore next time, and can come back soon!

The staff and volunteers are the BEST. They are kind and gentle, ensuring that participants have fun and a sense of belonging all the while feeling safe. Brighter Days is a gem of a program.

Anyway, there is a mini hike from here and up to state Capitol building, if you want some sort of challenge, but there is a paved sidewalk to go along if you just want to enjoy the nature and take cute pictures like Adam and I did. parking availa Le, but quite a bit of visitors, so had to park in a lot that was $1.10 an hour (it says $0.75 an hour on the sign, but not true). speaking of parking, the parking timer for that website where you pay actually started at 58 minutes, smh. would rank higher if parking more readily available and if they made it clear with signs about how the mini hiking trail goes.

It's nestled between the roads that lead in and out of downtown Olympia. The fountain shoots water jets up from the pavement at different intervals so it keeps you guessing where the water will come from. I believe I've seen signage that they do treat the water so it's sanitary as well. It stops the water jets every couple of minutes to keep up with the filtration. One thing I love about this park is that there is a variety of people of all ages and backgrounds that come to play in the fountain or make use of the park benches. Young couples, hipsters, older married couples, families, all the single ladies, non-binary folks, and even people in business suits. It's not just a cool fountain that lights up at night, it's a place for people to commune and I think that's great since downtown Olympia often gives off that vibe. So, If you don't feel like going over to the plaza in front of the Children's museum to get wet during the summer, head over to the Heritage Park Fountain right across the street from Capitol Lake Park.
