Luckily it was one of the few days of sunshine and good weather in WA, so I could enjoy laying in the grass. There is something here for everyone. BBQ grills, rugby/soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, basketball courts, trails, doggie doo bags, public restrooms, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, picnic shelters, child & toddler playgrounds and a skate park. It's very well kept and still looks brand new even though it's been around since 2004 I believe. Check this place out before summer is over.

There's a lot of parking, but I wonder how impossible it gets during baseball season. There are a vcouple of walking paths around the field which aren't too long and some of it is in the shade and people keep it clean. Haven't seen a dog poop left behind yet and let's keep it that way guys, since families hang out here.

Yes, because my friend is in this troupe and because of him I've seen Henry V and Midsumer Night's Dream. Doyou know how fun it is to watch Shakespeare as the dark slowly creeps, eating a subway sandwich, with your pups as they look longingly at the bunnies in the distance. You need to do this. Parking is easy and soemthing like 30 feet away from the meadow, there are big trees to give you shade in the heat where the plays are held, so you have no excuses.

The Museum is quite large with both indoor and outdoor space. There's a cafe area with food and drinks. I was quite impressed about the amount of activities to do from crafts, to science projects to all sorts of ways to flex your creative muscles. I think we spent close to 5 hours here and my kids would of stayed longer but I had a few stops to make and saw their was going to be some traffic going home so decided it was time to go. There 2 floors and a decent size outdoor area. It was rainy when we went but that didn't stop by kids from checking out the outdoor area. The art lab was huge. There were so many things to check out my kids were so engaged and didn't want to leave.

You can also watch the ducks swim or sometimes catch a view of a couple getting married at the Community Center. As I am a stickler for parking, if the park is busy, as it has been since it's summer and Washington has been getting it's 10 sunny days out of 365, people are out and about and grillin' n chillin'. So, the parking lot lately has been full, so you have to park in the grass directly behind the regular parking spaces. As mentioned, the grass can be muddy so if your car has a tendency to get stuck, you may not want to chance the grass. Overall, it's a great place to bring a lawn chair or a blanket and just relax.
