It would be impossible for her to be more attentive, concerned and personable than she is. Her extensive schooling and training hasn't kept her from being able to relate to non-medical people on an easily understood level. She showed genuine concern for me and thoroughly explained my options (often stopping to ask if I had any questions) before helping lay out a plan for my care. She put me at ease with what can be a very troubling issue. I could not have been more pleased with my experience as a patient or more impressed with Dr. Brown's "bedside" manner. Bravo!

I really do not like leaving bad reviews, but I have an urgent situation that is not being…read moreaddressed. I was seen by Dr Shirzadi on 1/10/24 and he referred me for an outpatient procedure to solve an extreme pain issue. I have tried to schedule the procedure but they do not have the referral requisition for the procedure. It's been two days now (1/12/24) and I have tried to resolve it with Dr Shirzadi's office and all they say is he hasn't signed the order yet. Even the staff at the outpatient procedure office tried to help by calling Dr shirzadi and they were told the same thing. Now I am going into the weekend with my symptoms worsening and I am going to have to wait. And no other treatment options were provided. 1/12/24 Update: just tried to call again to resolve the issue at 430 pm. Went straight to recording that said "the office is now closed. Normal business hours M-F till 5 pm" guess they decided to close early today. 1/17/24 update: it's been a week now and my order is still not faxed over so that I can get my procedure. I have called the office 4 times and still can't get this issue resolved. Office staff are unmotivated to assist and very short with me when I call to try to address the issue.

At first my care was okay, the man that was my first therapist would look at me like a meat on a…read morebone and it made me feel uncomfortable so they switched me therapist after I said something and she was great until she started adding patients to my schedule so instead of one on one therapy to focus on the healing I required there was less and less time for the focus on my healing, I was always stuck on the sit down bicycle when first coming in and again my healing not being met. And the very last time I met with my therapist, she scolded me for missing some appointments because I had strep(didn't want anyone else getting it), and I did accidentally have two appointments at one time, which I apologized for. And her schedule all the sudden changed and all the other therapist started leaving, so I was finally told after not seeing my therapist for almost two months that they were looking for somewhere else that took my insurance. They weren't doing my therapy any more.

The guy who takes xrays is not real personable. And I really tried, believe me. The waiting area, to me smelled like a veternarian's waiting room. Cat urine and dog sweat!!! Phew! Also, it could use a good sweep or vacuum!! The little nurse is really sweet. It's kinda close quarters in there, very narrow hallways. On my second visit the office visit, the office mgr or gate keeper, argued with my husband and myself about what I should pay for a co-pay. She called my insurance while we were there but the way she worded her question it was twisted in her favor. The thing is they bill your insurance under the clinic's ID instead of the Nurse Practioner's ID that takes care of you. That way they can get the higher co-pay from you. Every 2-3 weeks you come on you are out your highest co-pay to them when you are just seeing a Nurse Practitioner. This clinic is never very busy and I guess I now know why. I'm late to figure it out. This is a rip off.

My wife talked with a nice person who told us yes if we arrived by 6:30 they would see my daughter and she explained the costs. We arrived at 6:27 already feeling bad about the late need only to be greeted by two girls who basically told me I was not going to be seen and I should have called ahead.... Confused I stated we did call and both told me "well you didn't speak to any of us." The second girl informs me that they are closing and the Practitioner on duty said he isn't taking anymore patients. (Remember this is all happening with my daughter sitting in a chair holding her broken wrist... ) I explained again that I had talked to someone and they said "Oh you must have call Mt Juliet." No I definitely called the MURFREESBORO number.... I was met with a shrug at this point and informed I would have to seek care somewhere else..... We went to Gateway Urgent Care and confirm the broken bone but had to get a referral over to TOA ‍ Now here is the explanation of why this happens. At 5pm the answering service no longer routes calls so they all go to the Mt Juliet location. I was told well the girl who answered the phone must have forgotten the time and didn't ask me what location I was calling for. Well this seems to be problem number one... Problem two was these obviously annoyed employees in Murfreesboro that treated me like I was insane and I had made the mistake, and did nothing but shrug and say sorry we can't help the doctor is done for the day. If you know that I didn't "call" Mt Juliet but rather that I was routed there it would have been nice if you maybe checked with them to find out if they did tell me I would be taken care of if I reach the office before close. Anyway... first impressions are everything I guess this Murfreesboro office isn't very good at them ‍

This is a review of Dr. Ledbetter's office. I called his office on a Monday morning in intense…read morepain, then again on Tuesday and got no call back. Finally on Thursday, his nurse called me about making an appointment. I returned her call left a message about getting a prescription for pain as well as an appointment. The scheduler called back (not the nurse) and said it would take a week to see Dr. Ledbetter. So if you call Dr. Ledbetter's office for an orthopedic issue he has seen you for already, you have to call twice, wait three days, deal with the pain and loss of sleep with over the counter meds, them maybe get an appointment a week and a half after your symptoms start. Good thing it's not life threatening. Thanks for nothing TOA.
