Once he hit home, all he wanted to do was sleep and lay around (certainly not him. This lasted until the next day.) Less than a week later, I noticed small bumps on his back. One of them began growing pretty rapidly. He was itching and biting both areas. I carried him to the vet and was told he has a bacterial infection. Of course we can't be assured that the infection came from the groomer, but hey. They other things will cause me NOT to go back!! YOU decide if you want to chance it with YOUR fur baby!

And there is a severe weather plan in place to take care of the critters in her care. I was told years ago, the kennel was built with that in mind and it is taken seriously! Grooming: I have always had beagles so don't require complicated cuts, but I've seen pictures of gorgeous jobs she's done. What I can say from experience is they always look great and are always happy. Everything from boarding to grooming is done with such a high quality of care, attention and love at extremely reasonable prices, I can't imagine why anyone would go anywhere else...

I had one instance last year, where my dog was previously on a certain combination of medicines with his food. I brought him this time, and there was one deletion from the regimen, and a change. I had forgotten about the med we deleted and so only described current meds. About 10 minutes after I left, Regine actually called me on my cell to check about the med we deleted! She remembered what he got before and was concerned I had just forgotten to bring it and wanted to catch me before I left town. How many kennels can you say you trust to have that kind of care and attention??!! The facility is very clean, and she is making improvements all the time. She is VERY caring and obviously loves animals so much. My dogs are happy to go there, time after time, and I think that says it all! The grooming: I've taken my cat and dogs and they do a good job. But when I picked them up, there was still some loose hair, and the nails were a little long. For boarding, I won't go anywhere else. Regine has my undying loyalty and she deserves it.

From the moment we arrived, he treated Ammo with gentle, focused care--and treated me with kindness and respect. A few days later, Ammo began showing additional symptoms. Dr. Murdock ran bloodwork and diagnosed him with renal failure. As my heart sank, Dr. Murdock remained a steady, optimistic presence. He created a detailed care plan that involved Ammo staying overnight for a week. What stood out was his transparency: he provided an itemized quote from lowest to highest cost, and explained the treatment thoroughly, helping me make informed decisions during an incredibly emotional time. Throughout Ammo's stay, I was allowed to visit multiple times a day. The staff even provided a private room so I could spend quiet, comforting time with Ammo to lift his spirits. Every single staff member I encountered was incredibly gracious, patient, and understanding. I'm sure I was an interruption to their busy day, but they never once made me feel that way. Their warmth and professionalism went far beyond what the word "kind" can express--they were truly exceptional. After the third day, Ammo took a turn for the worse. Dr. Murdock was honest, compassionate, and met me late at night to administer pain medication so I could spend meaningful final moments with my beloved companion. I was still emotional, and Dr. Murdock offered to help my husband with the burial process. We live on a small farm, and although my husband told him it wasn't necessary, Dr. Murdock helped anyway. This was well after his normal hours of operation--a gesture that speaks volumes about his compassion, dedication, and humanity. Dr. Murdock and his team don't just care for animals--they care deeply for the people who love them. In one of the hardest moments of my life, they gave me peace, dignity, and unwavering support. Their balance of optimism and realism, paired with their extraordinary kindness, is something I will never forget.
