We took our grandfather clock that had been purchased by one of our customers through eBay to Tennessee valley packaging and container to see if they could package and ship safely. We placed bubble wrap around the clock, weights and pendulum to transport to their location. We purchased the shipping label through eBay, my husband explained this to the gentleman. We needed it safely packed and shipped. He assured us that they could safely do so. Our customer contacted us to let us know his clock was severely damaged. We contacted Tennessee Valley Packaging and took the photos to them to show them the damage. Their response was, it looks like it was dropped. They did not package the item, they simply made a box and placed it in it without packaging or securing the weights properly. They gave no refund, no apology, took no responsibility whatsoever. Please be very careful if using this company to package or ship anything fragile. read more

History

Established in 2011.

Tennessee Valley Packaging & Container started as a small specialty packaging service primarily focused on military packaging. In 2012 we opened our storefront packing and shipping to the public via FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS. In 2022 we moved to our new location in Arab, Al. We are a UHaul dealer and offer self storage as well under the business name Cube Space, LLC.
