For greater than 30 years I was a patient of Dr. James Seiler. While I found his skills to be…read morecompetent enough, there was a problem with Primed Corporate policies, and the subsequent consequence Dr. Seiler imposed upon me. It is for this reason, I would recommend any potential patient take extreme caution in selecting this corporate practice to engage in services. The last visit I had with Dr. Seiler I was prepared to pay my bill upon checkout, but the checkout clerk told me to wait until I was billed, because she didn't know what to charge me. I left on a consulting opportunity in Houston Texas for a 6 month assignment, and Dr. Seiler was aware of this because we discussed my consulting opportunity to work at MD Anderson Cancer Center during my last appointment. The bill eventually came, but I was gone on this work assignment. I paid the bill upon return to the Dayton area, and it totaled under $34.00. This where the problem starts. They had dismissed me from their practice for one bill of less than $34.00 after 30+ years of being their patient. I paid their bill in full upon return to the area, I sought to be reinstated as their patient. I had the next work opportunity that I needed to provide documentation for treatment of asthma, and hypertension that was time sensitive to be considered for employment, for which Dr. Seiler had treated me for decades for these specific diseases. I expressed to the office staff the need for this information because of the need for employment. They said the office manager had to make the decision to determine if I could be reinstated, and she was out for a few more days on vacation. That was on June 24, 2016 that I requested reinstatement. I never heard further from this practice until July11, 2016. On July 11, 2016 I received a letter stating that Dr. Seiler refused to reinstate me as a patient to this practice. It took them 17 days to notify me. Again, I was a patient for 30+ years to this man. There was no phone call to inform me. It delayed my documentation to a much needed employment opportunity. Anyone reading this should give great pause that a provider I was loyal to for this amount of time, and the fact that he knew I was out of state on business for months, reacted in this manner. His reaction as a provider was to abandon a patient for a $34.00 debt, even though he had first hand knowledge and knew I was out of the area. I paid his debt in full when I returned, and his reaction was to not give me any assistance in providing help to obtain future employment in this tenuous economy by completing two forms, because he would not reinstate me as his patient to his practice. For this reason, I strongly recommend no one go to any Primed practice or even to engage in any physician practice within their corporate organization. At the very least they show no loyalty or compassion to their long-term patients, and have zero tolerance to any circumstances. To Dr. Seiler, you are an ass to deal with. I will never have anything positive to say about you again! I will tell anyone who asks what you or your practice group is like! From a business sense, it was a stupid move to have lost a long term paying customer, (who has insurance) over a delay in receiving $34. You were paid, in full at my earliest ability. So now think about what just happened. I hope your $34 was worth it! Dr. Seiler, you're not just an ass . . . . from a business prospective you're a dumbass!

I was in a lot of pain because my SCS wasn't working right. They gave me a shot that should last until my surgery, or close to it. However, when they checked me out, they wrote prescriptions for medication I already had! It was the pain patches, the pain cream, acetaminophen, and ibuprofen. The dosage was increased, but I didn't have to pay a dime. Isn't that amazing? It saved me so much money on prescription copays! Plus, they were just as excited as I was to get my malfunctioning SCS replaced with the new one. I'm praying success for everyone who cared for me, both medical and administrative. From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I felt like I was part of a family.
