The worst service EVER! No Call, No Show three consecutive times. Don't waste your money.

It was very embarrassing when I realized I had cockroaches in my kitchen, however I was refereed to Terminix by my mother after she received great service for the last couple of years. The technician Doug Klohn explained everything to me. He was knowledgeable, professional and expressed interest in solving my problems. After two services my cockroaches were completely gone and I was thankful for his thorough service. I truly appreciate all of his help, wish every company had an employee with his great work ethic, attitude and personality. read more

This is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I have encountered 3 people here that were professional and courteous. Everyone else rude and dead end answers or no answers. We had termites a few years ago, we gave Terminix a large amount of money to treat our house and have been paying a maintenance fee of 20.00 a month for the past few years. The fee includes an annual check for termites and a "guarantee to treat if termites returned and to fix any structural damage due to termites".... We had our inspection last year and all the employee wanted to do was sell us insulation for our attic. We had the inspection this year because we saw the termites nest in our planter same as original area a few years ago. The inspector who was very thorough and professional concurred we had a termite nest in our planter ( its how subterranean termites work) but he was told by his manager NOT TO TREAT THEM because there was no evidence of structural damage. These termites go in the ground under your foundation and get into your walls. So there could be damage that's not evident unless you break open a wall. Which is how we discovered them the 1st time. So I want to cancel my service. Its obviously pointless to keep handing them $ every month. When I call to cancel my monthly service fee I was given the option to have a manager call me to see what they can do for me since it didn't make sense not to be proactive with the situation. A manager called back and left me a message, I promptly called him back and have left 4 messages since. Three weeks later still no call back and no one ever answers the phone at this office, my May payment was taken out of my account. Two very big problems here, 1. The Termites returned to the same area, and 2.They refuse to treat them until they do damage. Stay away from this business. THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF HELPING YOU. read more

Worst service in the world! I called two day ago and spoke with someone. I explained my problem and he said they could help me with it. I set my appointment up for today between the hours of 9-11. Eleven o'clock came I waited till 1130 and called them. A woman answers the phone and informed me that my appointment was between the hours of 9-11. I informed her it was eleven, she called the office of course no manger is avAilable. I was told if I want to cancel I need to speak to manager. Well it's 719pm now and still no call or service. To top it off I was on my way to pick my son up and I see the terminix guy leaving his home on Luna rd. read more

The techs are always friendly and seem to really want to help. Good customer service is very important to me and I feel Terminix has it on that part. I just have a problem with them raising the cost every year about $5-6 read more

I used terminix once before and unhappy with the service and very upset with the billing department. My renters called and I needed fast service after calling around trying to find someone to answer their phone (leave a message we,ll call) I called terminix and reach a very nice salesman. But that was just what he was sales and made lots of promises that they have failed to meet. The tech refused, yes refused to leave any paperwork or a phone number for them to call if they had problems. After multiple mobile app requests for urgent service I hit the button entered my cell phone and had a rep calling me in less than 60 seconds. I've had Terminix for many years. I can honestly say I haven't seen many bugs in my house. I started services with them due to an ant problem and store products wasn't working. After one treatment the ants were gone. My wife is super clean but these ants were going on everything to a pan we left soaking over night to toilet water! What I like is they charge you once every 3 months and if you ever need extra services they will come out again at no additional fee! Let me know if you're interested. We had our house inspected for a sale by Terminix he found a 4 by 6 poll holding up the roof of our porch on the bottom of that poll had termites he told us that the poll had to be replaced and treated at the cost of a thousand dollars! My husband told him that he could replace the poll himself then it wouldn't be a problem the Terminix guy said that we still have to treat it at 700 dollars. That's crazy!! So we went with another termite company my husband replaced the poll the other company came out and looked at it at the cost of 80 dollars!! This Terminix guy was trying to get what he could. Horrible service!! I set my appointment on April 28 and got an email reminder on April 24 , but they came on April 26. They only sprayed in the front yard when I was not at home, and charged me $113. I called the customer service, a women answered the phone and informed me that technician will not come to my scheduled time, and hang up the phone. This is the second time, they automatically change my scheduled time and did not tell me. We will not choose this company again! read more

This guy is great at taking your money and never returning to follow up. "Just call us and we will be right out", pure bullshit! Make appointments and no show without calling. They have wasted approximately 12 hours of my time waiting. I called and cancelled my year long contract because of their lack of service. Horrible service! If they show up when they are suppose to they don't do what is asked of them unless you follow them around! Also had a Tech drive their truck across my front lawn to get to the other side of my house, when there was a perfectly good fence that just had to be pushed opened! :-/ If your looking for a wonderful pest Company, call American Structural Pest Control in Hesperia... Update: I was suppose to receive a refund and instead they financed me for a service I never received. I called it was suppose to be fixed a month ago. I just received a delinquent statement. Imagine that. I went ahead and canx the service I actually purchased plus still trying to get a refund for what I didn't purchase. I'm trying to figure out why this shit is taking months to resolve. Will never use them again, even after they offered a free service for their mistake and poor customer service. We had an appointment and, no surprise here, once again no show no call. Took 2 hours off from work to be there with out my child so the inside and outside could be sprayed and given time to dry. All I got were excuses about how the computer scheduled our service in the wrong service area. The tech caught the error before the appointment window and called his supervisor but the supervisor didn't call us to let us know they weren't coming they just left a note in our service account to call us back to reschedule. I am done wasting my time with a company that can't even make a phone call so their customer doesn't take time off work and lose money because they screwed up and scheduled the service incorrectly. read more

Our service man John is the only reason we do business with Terminix. He is super efficient and knowledgeable of the pests that invade our household. If John was not our service technician, we doubt we would do business. read more

It is shocking and disappointing how poorly Terminix is run considering how long they've been around. I've had ongoing issues and the representatives have a hard time sending the right technicians for the issues then they just show up without an appointment and expect you to pay them when they didn't address the issues and you weren't even home. I received an email my service was cancelled then a month later they show up when I'm not home and send me an invoice. It's been ongoing issues for 6 months and I don't ever want to do business with them again. They are constantly trying to upsell and convince you to treat for termites when there's no evidence of them. It all feels kind of scam-y. The only positive is that, when they finally sent the right tech the third attempt, the treatment does appear to have killed the wood ants. I will definitely be going with a small local company if I can get out of the contract my boyfriend signed when Terminix showed up unscheduled while I was on vacation. read more

Terminix employee's are always very nice and professional. My service rep is very friendly and shows he cares by calling after the service to make sure everything was ok when I'm not able to be home. Any time there is a problem after the service they will come back to my house and spray again ensuring I don't have a pest problem. My only gripe is the cost. I would prefer it to go back below $100 per service. read more

Had an appt with a 2 hour window yesterday and Terminix was a "no call, no show". Guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Our technician, Patrick, is always professional. He communicates the time range that he will be here, he always asks me if there are any special areas which need attention and he is mindful of my small pets (reminding me if and when I should move them or avoid having him treat the area/s). He is also a good sport because one day he was here and my cockatiels were flying around and landing on his head. He was very easy going about the whole thing. read more

After previous good experiences with my local Terminix office, I called the Victorville office in June to check for termites in my vacation rental in Big Bear. They were prompt in setting up the service and I thought all was well. I had occasion to visit the place about a month later and found that the only evidence that a service guy had been there was the deck board that had been removed but never replaced. A missing board, right in front of the front door? Grateful that no renter got hurt (and sued me), I called and sent emails almost daily for 2 weeks before I got someone to return my call. Their solution? They called my property manager, had her replace the board AND I GOT THE BILL!!! Another 10 day round of calls and emails took place before I finally spoke to a live body in the Victorville office. Oh, did I mention that, not only couldn't the Terminix guy not finish the job, he somehow "missed" all the evidence of a rodent problem? Grant you, I'm not a professional but I think the dead mouse in the bathtub might be a clue. Terminix's excuse? Their tech wasn't "trained" to deal with rodents. Apparently, he wasn't trained to finish the job and his coworkers aren't trained to answer the phone, either. Anyway, I finally got the service manager to agree to reimburse me for the cost of replacing the deck board. He warned me that it "would take a long time" to cut me a check. Hey Terminix, it only took you seconds to charge my credit card $1200 for your worthless "service". If you need pest control in Big Bear, call C&D - they responded in one day and competently took care of my problem for a lot less money. This was a really expensive lesson for me but at least I can warn others before they get ripped off as well. read more

Terminix out of Victorville, CA purchased the business accounts from Shamrock Pest Control in Barstow, CA around the beginning of summer 2011. I was a happy customer of Shamrock's for many years. They had kept my 5-unit apartment building bug free. When I heard they were bought by Terminix I was confident I would still be a happy customer. My first call to them was for seasonal ants that like to hang out at my building. Shamrock always took care of my yearly concerns when the ants came. After three service calls to Terminix in two weeks, the ants were thriving. Callbacks were handled quickly and professionally; however, the problem remained. Since I am a business woman, when I pay for professional service, I expect to have the job done in one call , maybe two if the pest problem was particularly bad. But my time is too valuable to have to make so many calls for what is routine in that area. I switched to Dewey Pest Control. Jennifer answered the phone at 4:50 PM with a very professional, helpful voice. Within 5 minutes I had a quote from the technician and an appointment set up. Dewey was referred to me by one of the property management companies that have helped me many times in the past. I would NOT recommend Terminix from Victorville, but would definitely recommend Dewey Pest Control from Barstow, CA. read more

I have been using Terminix for years. They are service professionals. They advised me when they will be coming to my home and they are there very timely. They ask if there are any specific problems and spray the area outside my home and inside if need be. I no longer have centipedes, scorpions and other insect in or around my home. My dogs and cats are not affected by the spraying. I highly recommend Terminix!!! read more

They where great for my initial service. When it came to my fallow up which was 3months after the initial they did not show up at all. When I called there customer service they pretty much told me to deal with it because they where busy,and did not care I had set an app 3months in advance. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever they must make money hand over fist because they don't care how they treat there customers. ok.. so i paid my technician in cash in October for a previous bill.. got phone calls starting in November saying that we owe 2 bills... so after dealing with Terminix corporate and customer service thru to March this year.. then dealing with the collections company from March to May.. finally local branch called me back.. they had found the paid receipt and was so sorry... blah blah blah.. but "will call you back tomorrow (Friday 5/21/15) to follow up and let you know that it has been dealt with" well it is now Sunday 1:26 am and still no follow up.. wondering if i have to call corporate (who never heard back from them for 6 months) or collections (who put it in dispute pile starting in March, but never heard from local branch) or just call one of the 2 numbers that are here and on facebook for local office.. sad that they say they take care of issues.. and yet paid for 6 months and they come after you in collections calls.. so won't be using them again.. would still like to hear from the manager re:promise to call back to confirm everything has been taken care of.. but let's see if it takes another 6 months to hear back.. read more
