So my child ended up bringing bed bugs into our house from a friends house. I have never had bed bugs before in my life! So i looked into treatments and it says the heat treatment is the best but the most expensive. It cost me 4600 to get this done. Terminix first off highers out to another company to do the treatment. When the person came out to do the treat ment they did it for 3 hours heating the house to 150 degrees 3 to 4 house later I came back home first thing I see is a bed bugs still alive. So 1500 an hour to see basically no results so I had to get them back out here. But let's go to why I'm really complaining first off the company doesn't respond to anything Mike smith the manager he shouldn't be in that position he talks to people in a way you shouldn't being im a business he's rude. No one can give you times and they don't care took me forever to get them to come back out to redo the treatment. Which didn't work again. I ended up steaming all the carpet and cleaning and washing everything myself so I just threw 4600 down the drain. They are a waist of time and money I wouldn't use these guys ever again. I contacted Terminix as I needed rodent control due to some old droppings and sounds as getting ready to put house on market. I will mention that the man who wrote up the contract and the other man that came out to "set traps" were very nice and professional. The reason for 1 star is that a grand total of about 2 hours between both guys was 2 hours. Allegedly, a few traps were set (they wanted to do glue traps, which I declined as they should be illegal) in the crawl space and attic and steel wool jammed into various tiny crevices and holes. I am not even sure traps were set actually. All of this for a whopping $2013.43. Had I known that is all that was going to happen was steel wool stuffed in crevices and the offer of glue traps was all that this absurd cost entailed, I would have paid the handyman to do the same thing for a fraction of the cost. This is the worst company I have ever Dealt with in my life, I have been lied to so many time I can't count. I signed a contract in January of 2025 with a young man named Ethen, He said that they would come out once a week for the next six weeks and then once a month after that. After one month they finally showed up and didn't have pest control boxes with them and promised they would be back in next few days, That never happened. So after five months of no service I called to cancel the so called service, Now they are trying to send me to collections. I have made over 20 phone calls to them, Everything is documented. He then began telling me we had termites and that we should sign up for a contract. What he pointed at as proof of termites was something our dogs had done. I called Terminex about a bird problem I'm having. I had an appointment for a free inspection between 4-6 Monday night. Nobody ever came. I called the office at 6:30 to find out why no one showed up and couldn't get an actual answer. I rescheduled for this morning between 8-10. It's now 10:45 and I've called the office again to find out why they didn't come. The nice girl on the phone offered to reach out to the technician but at this point I would rather go with another company who values my business. If I could give Terminex zero stars I would. RUUNNN!!! If I could give a 0.5 star I would only because the two or three times someone came out they did their job. Other than that, I urge you DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with these guys. We payed the year out so it wouldn't be something that we had to think about. That was a horrible mistake. They would normally not show up or call hours after they would have to show up or not call and never show up. I would call many times obviously the call center does not lead directly to the office. I would get promises from the call center the the Victorville office would never fulfill. The customer service reps were helpful however If the company in your area is failing there is nothing you can really do. I had one guy come out because I got the "Premium Package" he told me to buy sticky traps and put a slim Jim on there" I requested they come out multiple times so they could see the termite damage that my policy was supposed to cover for them to fix it. Made an appointment with this company on a home inspection. I told them was coming from 2 hours away to give them access. Drove 2 hours, Waited 4 hours. Kept calling and they kept saying they were coming. They never came, never called back, or text just to let me know, so I could leave and drive 2 morcompany. Back home. I don't know what the heck is wrong with termini in Hesperia/Victorville but the service I received here is a lot different from the service in the IE. Been with Terminix for over 16 years and never had a problem with service or missing a payment (oops senior moment) my dog has seizures so they have to use a different spray, didn't do it so my dog had a seizure. I had to tell the serviceman to do the webs in patio, did lousy job, my account information was never updated from my IE account so it was always an issue when calling in! ugh! Lastly I missed a payment or a payment I thought I made didn't go through so this credit manager called to collect, I said I would go online and make the payment and he acted like I was lying and wanted the payment over the phone, I said I didn't know if this is a scam asking for my debit card information and basically had to hang up on him. Sorry to lose the service I had in the IE but not willing to pay for the lousy service in the high desert1 read more

Rodent POISON left as pictured in my back AND front yard, after many calls and complaints they say it will be months before we see results, (Yet we had an option to pay 600. for a one time visit ) opted for a package deal with full service, just 2 months into our contract we've had a couple of shows, branch mgr Brian said gophers were loners, a customer service rep didn't know what a gopher was. I tried to cancel and was told by ANTOINE I'd owe 900. said he's not a tech didn't know if the POISON should've been left out where PETS or KIDS could easily access the POISON. read more

They come to your house and paint this pretty picture of how they are a phone call away to help you and they make it seems like they have great customer service but once the make you sign the contract they ghost you and it is so hard to get ahold of anyone to come service you. They say that you have a technician assigned specifically for you and I am still waiting to hear from him. They leave your dog gates open and leave trash behind from their service. I can't believe I have 17 months left with these people. When you call the customer service number they also tend to be rude. Save your self the stress and look elsewhere for service. Update: they have came out and completed some of the work finally but I will post pictures so you can see the quality for yourself. This is all stuff I will have to redo if I ever decide to sell my house because it looks so sloppy. The workers that have came out to do the work are very nice and friendly but the quality of work is not up to par. I called to say I had wasp and that I must have a nest somewhere and they came out and found nothing, four days late I discovered 2. They keep blaming bees and wasp activity on my pool but I didn't have this issue the previous summer. Also if you schedule and inspection and Michael is your inspector please be hyper alert. He is like a used car salesman. He will try to relate to you specially if you were military and offer you the stars and the moon and vanish when he collects your signature. He will tell you have termites so you can sign up for service and in reality you don't. I had the exclusion done and this how the patched up my entry points. read more

Absolutely awful experience. We were booked for an appointment on Friday and they no-showed. Called the call center who apologized and tried to call the branch/tech and "couldn't get ahold of them". When we asked if WE could get their direct number we were told they can't give that out. When asked if they could transfer us, they told us they couldn't do that either. So we had to settle for a reschedule, made for the following Monday. Monday came and went, another no-show. We called the useless call center again, who supposedly tried to call the branch/tech again, and predictably, they "couldn't get ahold of them". After airing our grievances, we refused to just reschedule and appointment until we could talk to an actual tech, or better yet, a manager. They supposedly sent an email marked "urgent" to the branch manager. About an hour after the appointment time, technician "Johnny" calls us and the first thing he says is "I don't know why you were even put on the schedule, I'm so busy today, we're short-staffed, blah blah blah, excuses excuses". We aired out our grievances to him and asked to speak to his manager, and would you believe, he "couldn't get ahold of him". He promised to show up at a later date, and when we asked if he could call us that day regardless (whether he was going to show up or not) he said he could make no promises on that front. Canceled the appointment and went with a more reliable company. What a terrible business model. read more

I've had bad experiences in the past with exterminators, but Doug definitely changed my mind. I'm so happy that I went with terminix and got the best technician out there. Thanks Doug! This was one of the WORST situations and company I have ever had to deal with - and they did not even come to my house!! I just HOPE and pray they will not charge my credit card for their non-service as they insisted on taking my credit card information when they set up the appointment!! They were scheduled to come to my house and did not show, did not call, no excuses. So a few hours later I called their office (Victorville) to ask what happened. After 40 minutes on hold, I hung up. I then called again and asked to speak to a manager. The girl said she was transferring. After 40 MORE minutes on hold, I hung up and wrote an email from their website. Immediately I got a call asking me if I wanted service. I said no, I had a complaint about a scheduled appointment that no one ever came to nor called. The guy said that was not his area and he would transfer me. I said, "What if they put me on hold again and don't answer??" He did not respond and transferred me. After yet ANOTHER 40 minutes on hold, and with my head about to explode, I hung up. I am very concerned that they will run my credit card anyway - even without having done anything!! In any case, this is a TERRIBLE excuse for a company and I can not believe they are even in business. If I could give less than one star, I would. BEWARE!!! I see that I am not the only one giving ONE STAR. Almost ALL the reviews are one star. We have had problems with black widows lately so a friend of mine recommended terminex to us. My aunt had them down in Redlands so we thought it was perfect to us them. Oh we're we wrong, right away when my grandma called to set up the free inspection she was met with rudeness by someone that either didn't want to do their job or didn't know how to their job. The lady set up the spray itself but said the "inspector couldn't come out for two weeks" which contradicted them even coming out. I went online and made the free inspection which again was told no one could come out. Come to today, and the person coming out automatically is trying to get my grandma on a quarterly payment but we just wanted this one spray done and nothing else. Then he said he wouldn't come out until they automatically were paid, but how do you get paid if you haven't done the job! I had her call him back as he was being pushy and downright rude and made her cancel. We have never even used them and wouldn't recommend them what so ever. read more

I had a terrible experience with Terminix. I signed a contract and had my home treated for spiders and ants as a preventative measure. I had to call for service multiple times but what made it completely unacceptable is when my home was invaded by ants. I never experienced this with another well known company. I called to cancel with terminix because three treatments in less than 6 weeks is completely ridiculous. I had my refund approved but have not received it yet. Definitely never recommending this company to anyone read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! Terrible Victorville branch most of all! If you can get a real live customer service agent on the phone after they put you on hold for hours, congratulations to you! Have had so many experiences of unbelievably bad customer service with this company and the branch here in the high desert. I was initially a customer for the last handful of years with them and had issues with them charging my credit card WITHOUT my authorization. They figured since they had a card on file they can just charge it when they wanted. Had to file a complaint with my bank for that. Second problem was whichever technician we ended up with for our quarterly treatments were always new because the turnover rate for this company is sky high. Less than qualified techs that barely know what they're doing. I've had several occasions where I make an appointment for a certain time like noon because my husband works extra late night shifts and I don't want his sleep disturbed at the crack of dawn. So I'll request for noon or later and of course the Terminix tech is at my front gate calling my phone at 8am. He calls and leaves a voicemail sounding like an entitled brat wondering why my gate is locked because he wants to spray the perimeter ASAP. I wasn't home and my husband is fast asleep only coming home 2 hours prior. I call this tech back AND text and he never answers ever again. I've called the branch office only to speak with a very rude woman that sounds like she hates her job and is trying every way possible to transfer me to a different extension that puts me on hold again for hours on end. Take my advice, shop around first for pest control service before using Terminix here in the high desert that serves the Victorville, Apple valley, Hesperia and other surrounding cities. They are INCOMPETENT, RUDE and DECEITFUL. One tech claimed he sprayed my property one visit and printed a receipt and stuck it on my fence - I have RING cameras in my front and backyard that recorded him - HE DIDNT SPRAY ANYTHING. This tech pulled up to my front gate which was locked , looked around for 2 minutes and then printed a receipt to leave on my gate door and drove off. I was paying over $120 quarterly for this?! Terminix is the worst service I have ever received They will take your money for sure and then they will turn around and service you with disrepect. I sign up for a termite report and the guy Dean said we don't have termite but he writes us up for peeling paint around my eaves But. "no termites" . he got mad at me because he wanted me to sign up for sevice on a monthly sevice and I told him no I was not happy with their sevice in the past and I'm not interested just want a termite report for my refinance. So he writes it up so I will problems using his report. My loan officer couldn't use it for my refinance on the house. So I call Harris termite & pest control. Man they are the best. Within an hour they gave us what we needed and i said there was no termites. Now I ask terminix to speak with the manager there and he told the receptionist that he will call me when he reads the report. That was on May 8 2019 today May 28 2019 he never intended to read anything. So if you want to have a nice termites service that cares and not just want to take your money don't call terminix they are crooks read more

I called in a week prior to make appointment and was assigned to Victorville. The man on the phone was really nice. I paid for treatment for the next week. He said I would get email, update, and the person coming out would call me the day of and give me updates on arrival. The day of treatment no calls no updates. I call main office to check they said my appointment had been changed to 4 days later at a different time. I did check my info and I was in the system and had the correct number and email, so they dropped the ball. I took the day off to take care of this and was highly annoyed. I complained to the person on the phone and he said he was not In Control of what happens he just takes the orders and proceeded to give me another number for outgoing service to call. When I called the number and it was the same division for incoming orders just different number, so I cancelled my order. I will never deal with these yahoos again. I am in real estats, so the word will get out fast how unreliable and unorganized this company has become! read more

Wow not very nice had to ask for a new tech after he didn't show then after rescheduling he was 2 hours late still gave them a chance and then found I was having more bugs when he sprayed then ever before in my 9 years at my home so after 1 year of over 17 visits I let them go and had to pay 94 dollars for one month to cancel and could not get my other two months of service because I canceled well to be honest it was worth the 94 dollars to not have them return and spray sugar water read more

Recently my home had an ant infestation that I tried to treat myself for weeks on end. . to no avail. My neighbors use Terminix regularly for mouse treatments and recommended a new tech that's been assigned to the neighborhood. Doug K. came by, explained out different options for pest control and did a thorough inspection. He sprayed and we've noticed a significantly less ants! Stay away!!! Don't get me wrong... the bugs are gone, so is my son's PS4, his games, my charging pyramid, and anything else they could get through the kitchen window! We left on a Tuesday, and the branch manager called us a day early to inform us that our home had been broken into. The tent apparently was open in front and so was the kitchen window. If I could gives these jerks zero stars I would. I have had Terminix for a couple years now and I've never used my free termite inspection. Well I'm selling my house and I called them to schedule my termite inspection. I advised them I was moving and needed a termite inspection and I believe I have a free termite inspection. They said yes you do let's get you scheduled. The guys came out and asked us this for the sale of the house and I said yes. He said ok and did the inspection. He advised there were no termites and then told me it will be $175. REALLY!!! How does nobody tell you this until your backed into a corner and can't do anything. I've called and nobody cares and just sends emails to god knows who and tell me sorry it's $175 for "legal paperwork". I'm cancelling my service with them and intend to smear their name everywhere. read more
