I am especially thankful to Mr. Paul Lacroix and Mr. Ben Miller who I am familiar with because of the outstanding customer service I receive from them all the time.     Gary Winkler, State Farm Insurance agent works against his clients! Beware, use extreme caution!…read more My mother had a hole in her oil tank and the heating oil leaked all in her basement. That happened on 1-15-2024. My mother hired a company to clean the oil up. on 2-13-24 my mother and I called state farms to see when they are going to pay the claim and the insurance adjuster asked my mother how she want her insurance claim payment digital or check. My mother told the insurance adjuster that she wants a digital payment. The insurance adjuster explained the digital payment process and stated it should be in her account in 24-48 hours. The insurance adjuster called back and said that my mother cannot gets a digital payout because the mortgage company policy stated the insurance claim check have to have the mortgage company name on the check so the insurance company cannot electronically transfer the funds. My Mother and I called her mortgage company to confirm what the insurance adjuster told us about the mortgage company policy stating they have to be on the check. The mortgage company representative said, " putting us on the check came from the insurance company, but we will get the check see if she owes any back payments then mail the check-out to her." The paper check process takes from 30-45 days. State farms said it takes 7 to 10 businesses days to mail it to my mother, then my mother have to sign the check and endorsed it over to her mortgage company. When my mother put i in the mail that is another 7-10 days before the bank get it. Once the bank has the check the bank stated it takes 20 days to process, I informed both the state farms and the mortgage company that this process will cause my mother harm and the company who cleaned up the oil spill is going to have to wait another 45 days to get paid. I asked both state farms and the mortgage company who is going to pay the interest or penalties the company will charge for waiting another 30 to 45 days. Bothe the Insurance adjuster and the mortgage rep stated that it will be on my mother. I called Gary Winkler my mother State Farm agent. Instead of trying to resolve the issue for my mother he was combative and implying we are committing fraud. He stated the company can wait for the funds so I asked him if he can wait for his payments. He made it seem like we are doing something wrong for advocating for the electronic option and the company should not have to wait another 30 to 45 days. As I stated before BEWARE and use extreme caution when having Gary winkler as your insurance agent or choosing State farms for your insurance needs. African Americans as you already know we have to fight for any justice and they always giving us a hard way to go. My mother pays all her bills on time and is in not back on her mortgage. Why do the mortgage company need to see if she is behind in her payments before the will endorse an insurance claim check to her? This is my mother second claim after being with state farms for 18 years and it was over 10 years ago since the first claim. Gary Winkler line of questioning was inappropriate deflected the issue about getting the electronic transfer told me my mother should have heat and this is put in place to make sure no fraud is not being committed. He was very insensitive to my mother needs and the delay in paying her claim will cause her harm and stress. My mother main heating source is from the oil heat. Gary Winkler did not have any empathy or sympathy, when I told him she does not have any heat and the clean-up have to be paid before the new system will be put in place. He said, " the company can wait for their payments." but he will not wait to get paid when it comes time to pay the insurance bill. BUYER BEWARE GARY WINKLER WORK AGAINST HIS CLIENTS. HE IS NOT FOR HIS CUSTOMERS BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE HE DO NOT WORK IN YOUR INTEREST
