We love coming here the service and staff is great and friendly but the maintenance man always has a problem with us when our ball gets stuck or when there is an issue with the lanes. We love coming here all the time but the fact he was audibly upset and throwing his hands up when the front desk calls for him was very unprofessional and rude. read more

Great Family and Adult fun. The bowling alley looked as if floors have recently been replaced. Has bumpers that rise and lower depending on person who chooses to use them at beginning of game. There is a game area that has tokens you can purchase and games give tickets like Chuck E. Cheese. A bouncy house area you can purchase wrist bands for your children. A bar area the have a lot of drink selection draught beer crown royal & a lot of other selections. $3.00 for 24 oz Budweiser. I am not sure other prices I saw this on signs everywhere lol. And they have a restaurant area. We had cheese burger. It was made fresh and very good. And a pizza that also had fresh dough and cheese very good not frozen you could tell. Went here on a Friday night which is $13 for unlimited Glo-bowl. The place is clean and there were still plenty of lanes available. Our lane, 15, had the balls stuck quite often but the employees were quick to resolve the issue. I didn't personally get a drink but my friend did and she said the wait was pretty long for it. On the bright side, her drink was 3/4 alcohol so there's that. Overall, nice place to bowl on a friday night. read more

Usually really great place, always a little slow. But today the girl checking us in, was very rude. She was very condescending. When I asked a question, she didn't explain things well. I had called prior and asked question. She told me a different answer. So when I told her the difference, she said it didn't matter. I used to love this place, but now I'm hesitant to take my big family back. The other woman that came in next, threw away our full drinks while we were bowling. They were just very rude and disrespectful to us. The girl that was taking food orders was very kind and thankfully a positive part of the experience. read more

The Bowling Center is easy to spot on Springhill Dr., just look for the giant bowling pin that is the size of a transport truck. Inside, there are a ton of lanes, billiards, arcade games, bouncy houses and even a pretty good snack bar! Everything is clean. Not operating room clean, but clean for a bowling alley. Service was quick and helpful. The lanes were trouble free if not state of the art. Don't worry, you don't have to keep your own score, but with young children who needed the bumpers to prevent overall scores of 0, the bumpers were either up the whole game or down; there was no option to raise or lower them depending on the bowler as I've seen at some newer lanes. The pizza was even pretty good! Thin crust with plenty of toppings. Overall, a very nice experience! read more

Come here every Tuesday with friends for months, we easily spend $100. They got a couple new arcade games which they've added to their collection. The claw game which you can grab tickets, "loads it to your play card", which it doesn't. After spending $40+ on this game alone to collect tickets so the kiddo could enjoy some prizes, none of those tickets were added to the play card. I asked two different employees about this, which they directed me to a number on the machine. Instead of setting it "out of order", they just said "can't do anything about it", and "call the number". It doesn't do it to some people. I will not be coming back, I'll find a different venue. read more

We went here to have a small get together for my granddaughters birthday, 8 adults (mom, dad, 2 sets of grandparents, an aunt and uncle) and 5 kids (all under 8, one being an baby). Right when 4 of us walked in, Todd the manager seen us carrying in presents and approached us asking if we had a party booked, we did not and he immediately stated "well that's not gonna happen" and how we can't have a cake, going on about that's not how it works etc... once the birthday parents arrived and talked to him, he agreed to allow us to stay. We purchased several games of bowling and bands for the kids to use the play area, ordered 3 pizzas, 3 orders of breadsticks and cheese, onion rings, several drinks, candy and 3 of the beer towers, almost $300. Everyone bowled and then took a break to eat. Todd came back over to us telling us that we were just taking up space and if we weren't going to bowl he needed us to leave as he need the lanes. REALLY, we were eating! When we questions him as to who he needed them for because no one was in line or waiting he stated that he didn't need them right now but...... Whatever, so we moved closer to the play area so the kids could still play some more. Needless to say we didn't stay very long after that as we didnt feel very welcome from the moment we walked in, he was not nice at all and just very rude! I LOVE this place! It is a clean and fun environment where you can enjoy fun play and bowling teamwork. It's great for a plethora of things, whether it be a fun date night out with some beers, a place for a kids birthday party or just a place to take the family. The prices are very reasonable and it's a fun, active sport. A must in Terre Haute. read more

I have bowled at the Terre Haute Bowling Center since 1976. I've bowled at the other establishments in Terre Haute as well. As far as I'm concerned THBC offers the best lane conditions overall. No matter what kind of delivery you use, you can easily adjust to the shot provided. They are the cheapest place in town for open bowling M - F at $1.75 for senior league members. Weekend bowling is low priced as well for the senior bowlers. Other bowling centers are charging over $3.00 & it doesn't matter if you're senior or not. I find the staff at THBC to be very kind & considerate to all of your needs. Food is great & the kids have a blast at the new play center. I do miss all of the pro tours that came in years gone by. My fiancée, his brother and I went to visit friends here in Terre Haute. We first went to the mall and then decided let's go bowling! So not knowing the area, our friends took us to this local bowling alley. Upon arrival we asked if we could have 2 lanes so we could have our friend and her little son be in their own lane with bumpers. The lady at the register rudely told us that she could not give us two lanes for it is a Saturday night and they would be busy. So we just settled for our lanes having bumpers. Our bowling experience was great and cheap and that's why I'm giving this two stars when it greatly deserved one. Though we easily could've had 2 lanes because it was not busy AT ALL. And we ordered fries which took almost 25 minutes to make and that is because when my fiancé went back up to check on them they said they didn't know we ordered fries and they were almost immediately out. Toward the end of our visit, I needed to use the restroom. The ladies room was very dirty. And I mean very dirty. I decided that I could hold until I got home an hour later. I decided to wash my hands and their lack of paper towels was saddening. Just an overused hand drier that hardly blew any air and not even close to enough to dry my hands. So I was forced to use my jeans. I do not recommend this bowling alley. read more
