Decided on Terre Haute Sporting Clays. We went in blind, and it ended up being a good decision. The staff was very nice, and sympathetic to our situation. Shot 5stand, trap, and sporting clays all day. They have 2 well designed sporting clay courses. Digital counters keep track of you clay total, with the option of an auto delayed pull if you are solo. They had a selection of rifles and handguns for sale also, with all the equipment needed for clay shooting. You can also rent golf carts for the course. Membership dues are reasonable, and your membership will not increase as long as you pay regularly. On site pistol and rifle range also.

They have a great camp store where we bought our firewood, nice beach, a really great shaded walking trail, and a lovely place to spend a morning- the Cataract falls! There was one incident of a camper next to us getting roudy, loud, and drunk, but the rangers came and talked him down. This made us feel safe. It was reasonably priced. On the drive to cataract falls (about a 20 minute drive) there is a lovely ice cream shop in an old school house- perfect for an afternoon treat after doing some hiking along the river. Bring bug spray, sunscreen, and your swimsuit as there is plenty to do outdoors! Your admission to Lieber state park also gets you into cataract falls for the entire duration of your stay, which is really helpful. There are out toilets but there are also nicer, regular toilets with sinks and showers. They were fairly clean, just a bit more of a walk from our campsite. But it was worth it!

The facility is always clean, including the locker room and showers, and the staff is always willing to help. When other establishment wanted to charge me 20$ for a one day pass, Stan's only charged 7$! Whether your are just visiting or looking for a new forever-gym, swing through and get the most peaceful workout of your life! No loud screaming or weights crashing, just the sound of self improvement.
