Natalie took down my information and set me up for an appointment a few days out. I informed Natalie of my time crunch because I was in need of auto insurance by the next day. Natalie spoke with one of their quote analysts (Crystal) who was able to make time for me on the same day I called. Natalie told me I would be in good hands and she was absolutely correct. Later that day I showed up for my appointment and the minute I walked in I was greeted by a gentleman with a handshake followed by being greeted by Natalie. Natalie notified Crystal of my arrival and within two minutes Crystal was ready for me with not only a quote for my vehicle but talked me into insurance for my home and boat (same or better coverage as I already had but at a better price). Natalie took the time to explain every part of all three insurance policies and made sure there was no question unanswered in regards to my concerns and needs. I will start by saying total total total (can't stress enough) lack of communication. I was in an accident which ended up not being my fault for I was hit by a semi-truck. I called to report the accident and Janet logged it into the system. I did not hear back from her for days. I called and emailed and received no response. I thankfully have not been in many accidents so I do not know how they are handled by the insurance agencies. I was not informed of how the claim would go. As a consumer we NEED to know. When all was complete I left this agency and moved to another insurance company. When they were trying to do a license look up on me they found that Farmers had logged in the accident as my fault. I was not at all surprised. On another note, I called multiple times to ask why our insurance payments went up on our vehicles every six months with Farmers and I was not told an answer. One time Janet stated the computers were down for days, then I was told it was brought to the higher up individuals and still no response. Then when I asked to speak to Dave I got his voicemail so never got to inform him of the treatment I received. My advice, go somewhere else!

After only a few months my rate went up. I later found out that they had used info I didn't give them, that had auto populated in their system...they had included my EX-fiance in their quoting which drove my rate really low. Over the year that I was with them, my rate kept going up even though I didn't have any accidents. Then, the worst part is, I left State Farm to go to another company and that company sent in my cancellation info. I also called the office and informed them that I was leaving. In Illinois, you are supposed to get a refund on any premium that was not used. I was due a refund. But, not only did they NOT issue me a refund, but they charged me AGAIN! And claimed they never received my cancellation, even though I spoke to their office on the phone as well as my new agent sending in my cancellation info. When I caught the error on my bank account, I tried contacting the agent via email, phone and even their customer service line. Not one time did John Nuzzo ever call me back. The company only sent me a check for one payment when I was due a refund on two payments and they keep insisting that they never got my cancellation and that their "policy" is to only go back 30 days on a cancellation. I've spoken with two other agents at different companies and they told me that it is ILLEGAL to charge a premium when someone is covered by another company and that I'm due a refund. This is absolutely ridiculous. First they bait me into switching to their company with a fraudulently quoted rate, then they charge me when I leave and I have to go through all sorts of red tape and don't even get the refund I'm due. I would NOT trust this agent and I will NEVER be returning to State Farm.
