Our recent groomer unfortunately moved away so we were stuck trying to find another compassionate,…read moresweet, and reliable person. So happy my neighbor mentioned this mobile grooming business. Marissa came highly recommended and I was easily able to make an online appointment with her the same week! Once I filled out some basic online info regarding my dog and signed a consent, all communication was confirmed through texts and email. Loved and appreciated the reminders regarding the appointment. Marissa arrived promptly within the time slot chosen. Our dog, Kahlua, spent a little over an hour in the mobile van getting groomed. After he was done, he looked like an entirely different dog! Of course in a very good way, he was one hot mess prior and we had nicknamed him fur bomb lol The grooming included bath, dry, cut, ear/eye cleaning , nail trim, and external anal gland expression. Afterwards, he smelled fabulous too! She spritzed him with a bit of some good smelling stuff. Marissa was super sweet, friendly, answered all our questions, and had a wonderful demeanor with Kahlua. You can tell she really cares about what she does. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Military discount was offered and tips are preferred in cash or Venmo.

Appointments are changed -- including appointment times and assigned groomers -- without proactive communication or adequate notice to customers. Follow-up commitments are not honored, and communication throughout the process is inconsistent and unprofessional. A business providing customer services should prioritize clear communication, reliability, and accountability. Unfortunately, this company falls short in those areas. The groomers deserve recognition for their work, but the overall customer experience is negatively impacted by poor management and lack of dependable communication.

*using same review from broadway location since we train at both facilities *…read more In 2021, i thought that my people/dog aggressive blue heeler was unfixable and possessed the potential fate of being put down. It is now Jan 3, 2023 and I am truly so happy with SMS. My consultation was late December 2021 with Austin at the Broadway location. I explained to him my concerns and goals and he was very enthusiastic about Bojack's potential with the program. Austin had me test the e-collar for my own reassurance as an owner. (test was on fatty area of the palm). I never had doubts about using this sort of training tool, especially with a dog like Bojack which I knew needed something more than just a "good boy! here's a pat on the head". Bojack did the 6 day course where he attended a daycare-like setting at the Broadway facility 3 days for 2 weeks. (He was muzzled for each class which I fully supported). After every class, I would get a lesson on what Bojack learned such as how to use the e-collar and the basic commands that follow with it, (heel, place, sit, down, stay, come). Bojack already knew these commands from a previous program he did but I was mostly looking forward to the years' worth of group classes that are included in the price. (these group classes were the absolute selling point for me. I was very dedicated to Bojack's progress). Bo's first group class was Jan 27, 2022. It has been almost an entire year and I truly can't believe the progress he has made with SMS. In these past 12 months, Bo has truly mastered most of the commands and exercises that we do during group class. Bojack has now been accepted into the brand new Advanced II class that will consist of weekly field trips for higher-skilled exercises and a more challenging environment. This is all credited towards the amazing trainers he has seen throughout the year: Patricia and Mike throughout the year, Zach for the last half of the year and Isaac for these past couple weeks. (also a big thank you to all the trainees/newer employees that help run the facility). I am not going to lie, Bojack still has reactivity issues, but I have accepted and so should you, (if you are a severely reactive dog owner), that these behaviors will likely not go away due to many unique reasons. BUT, what you CAN do is learn how to be proactive. Proactivity and consistency is the key for owning dogs like these. You can't expect to drop a couple grand on SMS, not attend any group classes and then expect a cured dog. Those group classes are absolutely vital to you and your dog's training abilities. Being consistent is so important, I can't stress that enough. With the dedication I put into Bo and SMS for the past 12 months, I can now take Bo to any crowded place and feel confident in his ability to execute an excellent heel walk while walking by distractions amongst other commands. Thank you trainers and Lisa for the environment you created, for the training you provided and the confidence you instilled in me and Bo :)
