Members submit photos to the contest and the best photos are published in the calendar. It's really cool to see local talent from amateur photographers in our 50th State! Note: I'm a member here because I used to work for The City and County of Honolulu. My coworker said that it's better to have more Credit Union accounts and compare interest rates, benefits, etc. Since I was in the area, I went to this branch of Aloha Pacific FCU. It had free shared parking and great air conditioning! The interior was bright and clean with cute Christmas decorations. Unlike the main branch where members speak to tellers via phone - and place ID, checks, cash, and other documents into a tube to send upstairs, this Waimalu branch has face-to-face transactions. I like it better! When it was my turn, I stepped up and asked for a calendar. I was asked how many? Ooh! I got two - one for my kitchen and one for my bathroom... Haha! I never know what day it is! It seems as if she doesn't want to do business with you! I don't know what her problem was but it seems as if she hates her job. Usually when a customer comes in, it's suppose to be a smiling, engaging and a personal experience. My experience is a boring, strict, resting bitch face Asian lady who doesn't give a f*ck why you are here. So filling out forms she asks questions, i can't even barely hear what she is asking!! She needs to speak up! Then next thing you know she says I can't open due to ASB which I wasn't aware so I guess that's the only plus of info she gave me. After telling me she decides to just say that. No "SORRY" we can't open. It's more like "yeah we can't open it" with her boring monotone voice!! With that being said before I left I asked her name "name is Tiffany" which she didn't even say any ending greeting. As a business student major she needs to work on her customer service the most. How do you expect to do business with a customer if your not building a raport with the customer. The number one and most important is SMILING!! For some reason she looks as if she hates her job and feels like she is forced upon working there! This is what sets her verbal communication!!! She was very friendly and helped him with his transaction so I waited in line for my turn. There was another teller there but appeared to be busy. She did not look up once and just continued on her business. I waited for about 3 minutes until she finally looked at me asked if I needed any help. I was a little shocked as all the tellers that have helped me in the past have been very nice and friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. Maybe she was busy or was having a bad day. She ended up helping me with my transaction, but seemed a bit preoccupied. It could have been as they were closing in 20 min, but the teller who was helping my boyfriend was chatting with him and was very welcoming. This was the first time I had experienced this type of customer service there and was a bit disappointed. Usually when I come here or the other branches, the tellers are very welcoming and give you that feel of family.
