I absolutely expect blaster boxes and retail products to be sold at or near the manufacturer's suggested retail price. That's literally what MSRP exists for. If the same box is sitting at Target, Walmart, or online for around retail, why should customers be treated like idiots for questioning massive markups? Instead of having a respectful conversation, the attitude seemed to be 'shop somewhere else if you don't like it.' Fair enough, and that's exactly what many collectors are doing now. Local shops keep blaming distributors, overhead, and the market, but customers also have a right to decide when pricing crosses the line from reasonable profit into straight-up inflation. What made it worse was publicly lecturing customers online for noticing the discrepancy. That kind of attitude destroys trust fast. A card shop should feel like a place for collectors, not a place where customers get mocked for knowing what products actually retail for

The owner and regulars are great about sharing best practices for assembling and painting the models. I had to loop the neighborhood a few times. Once we got inside, I was shocked how long the line was. There were at least ten people in line to purchase items but the line moved quickly. My sister purchased as many of the cards the store's policy allowed and she was happily shocked the price was half of what they cost in Seattle. The store was small but well staffed and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
