After seeing this business pop up as a hot and new place- I kept this in my pocket as I know I have friend that love a good board game as do I. Went on a Sunday early afternoon and was warmly greeted. After exploring I asked how the table reservation worked. It was $1.50 per person for a half hour. I was able to reserved for the three of us for $5.00, I think we stayed a bit longer. My friends grabbed goodies such as candies and pretzels and soda. I enjoyed the variety of games, who would ever think Clue the Nightmare before Christmas version could be so complicated lol. The space is clean and the staff were warm. One of the staff mentioned we can bring outside food in, and due to it being a family business alcohol is not served. I love that they close at 10:00 p.m. this will make a fun hangout spot! read more

Best game store in Reno! Not just best NEW game store, I'm talking best in Reno! This reminds of the places of my youth back in Orange County in the different malls. This is a place where you go in without a game plan and just wing it and plan to kill some time. You start perusing the shelves and you just keep on going... it just gets better and better! They don't try to cram anything down your throat but they're always helpful and informative. Feel free to ask about the different games, they play test quite a bit. This is absolutely THE BEST game store. HUGE selection of table top games. Nice large tables for playing. The selection of all the different card games was pretty extensive too. They have an events calendar online which is nice. The store was clean, bright, and quite large for this type of store. They offer smaller bistro like tables so you can rip those card packs immediately after purchase. The staff is also very friendly. This will be my go to choice for my Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, and Star Wars Unlimited addiction. Great to have this store in Reno!!!! read more

Not great selection but great environment!! Owner is a cool guy and staff is super nice but not true comic/collectable nerds. So if you want that kind of big bang comic shop keep going if you want a safe fun place to buy and play this has no equal in the area. Also less than a year old so I like to help if out. Cozy area with a lot of different products that aren't the easiest to find in Reno. Many were here playing and I learned how to play Warhammer Killteam. Staff is also pretty friendly. Can't really say much for the value, they're normal I guess. But overall, their plat stuff is nice with terrain for guests and the painting area is cozy read more

I stopped by for the soft opening today and had a wonderful experience. The entire staff was super friendly, the store itself is clean and it was comfortable to spend time in. Between TCGs, tabletop RPGs, board games, minis, tons of dice and accessories, they have a good supply of stuff. I even saw some chainmail dice bags and D20 earrings so they have some very cool things I haven't seen in other stores. They have tables to play on and snacks and drinks, I'm excited to take advantage of those next time. I also think it is worth mentioning that they have good prices on everything, which not all places do, so that is also great. read more

A welcome far cry from some of the other game stores I've frequented, this shiny new store has staff who are welcoming (not surly and annoyed you're there), helpful, and engaging. Don't know what to buy for that special person's birthday? Just tell the staff a little about them, and they'll help you choose the perfect game or accessory! I have never seen so many exotic versions of traditional games IN.MY.LIFE. All beautifully arranged on clean, organized shelves in an airy store buzzing with enthusiastic gamers. I went on a soft-opening evening and the chatter of customers seeking games, playing games (YES!!! Lots of tables, chairs, and favorite snacks!) was non-stop. There was one old blond who dropped an F-bomb when a fellow gamer played a mean little card at the table...oh, wait. That was me. Sorry. DND, MTG, other role-playing gamers - look no further.
