This should be the correct location. I was told hope is from the mc dowell location. I had an assessment visit with a HOPE Kurczeski. She was awful. All she knew about me what that I'm disabled, have cptsd, she knew my injuries and my my medications for my disability and I told her I'm just there for Xanax because it helped me with anxiety and panic attacks when my pcp emergency prescribed it for me. This girl tried to diagnose me bi polar so I mentioned I'm just autistic. And she said, without knowing me at all or my mental health struggles, "I can tell you right now you're bi polar". And she tried to prescribe me Latuda. I don't have depression or anxiety on the day to day (I'm having panic attacks because trump and I had to call cps on my in laws) and I don't have high highs of mania or low lows with depression following the mania. I do not meet the criteria for bi polar. I've been to aurora twice for weed as a child and they never diagnosed me or prescribed me bi polar meds and they knew me for 2 weeks at a time. I went there twice and even with my worst mental health they were unable to diagnose me bi polar. I'm 31, female, autism, adhd, disabled with cptsd, I struggle with those things and she wanted to throw that all in the trash and label me a bi polar. She didn't know anything about me to say that and because I was upset with her for throwing dumb diagnosis at me with serious brain changing medications and ignoring my actual issues, she doubled down and said if I need Xanax I need to go to the emergency room when I'm having panic attacks. The ER will tell me I need to see a psych to get the meds and tell me I need to not go to the ER for that. Duh. That's wasting resources and people's time. I told her she wasted my time, she's not smart enough to help me with my actual problems and she was laughing at me and smiling because I told her off. I always stand up for myself especially in a medical position I've been with psychiatrists since 8 years old. I am also disabled and see doctors constantly and I was trying to get my Xanax quickly and efficiently and we didn't even get to talk about why I was needing that type of RX. She said "I'm not prescribing you Xanax" and I said fine I don't care I'm not seeing a doctor who's judging me so hard they think I have bi polar when I haven't even said anything yet. She probably thought my high energy was mania, no that's just how people without depression act. I don't struggle with depression and all my friends do and I don't understand them and they don't understand me. My bi polar friends know I'm not bipolar I called them right after the apt. read more

Falsifying medical records, diagnosing patients with substance use disorders to bypass Medicare's rules on unnecessary drug testing, inexperienced providers with 500+ caseload, failure to provide basic services, lying about medications, laws, rules, dangerously poor standard of care, routinely withhold medications to enforce non-medical administrative policies, patients are victimizing other patients on the clinic properties. Terros was a decent place to obtain medication and they provided accurate care and guidance with medication; All while adhering to proper protocols and procedures for prescribing safely. I have never had to visit the ER once while under the guidence of Terros. Safety precautions were respected and dosages were kept to a minimum. I am providing this place with 2 stars due to the frequent tardiness, lack of professionalism and lack of organization. I would frequently wait on average approximately 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment to see NP. Mark Poulin. I was also treated poorly by Dr. Traghatia and NP. Wolf, who also were frequently late to appointments. These factors and individuals discouraged me from obtaining treatment and for delayed my progress. Terros is exemplary proof of the greater issue we face in America... A poorly constructed mental health system for the working class. Over the past 5 years I've written a few reports to the board of nursing and to the board of medicine regarding the treatment I've received at Terros but other than that, there is nothing else we can do but hope for something better. This clinic almost killed me. I wish I had never met Lynnette Hjalmervik (Nurse Practitioner). I wish I had never received SMI services. I had not been suicidal for over 10 yrs until I was treated at Terros. Regular staff is nice. Pharmacy is nice. Groups are good. I was misdiagnosed after a 10 min appt. And a phone call with a not-well-known family member that I was not informed of. Medicated and ignored. She does not hear or communicate. Does not explain diagnosis or pills. SHE is the crazy one. Even my social worker here was so bad she got fired. I never received counseling like I was supposed to and my paperwork wasn't even submitted for months. My psychiatrist is Dr Beltran and he really seems to care which is the only reason I didn't give just 1star. This is a mental health facility but the front desk will make you crazy if you aren't already. When you call you go through the rigamarole of their phone tree only to get forwarded to a voicemail. Then you wait to hear back at THEIR convenience. Dorothy in records is an exception. She is kind and helpful. But at the Stapley facility it's another story. I called and spoke with the most unhelpful and ignorant woman who told me I could come and pick up my medical records in person. I don't like to leave the house because of my condition but I needed the records right away so I did. When I got there she denied telling me that, although the phone call was RECORDED. Then she had the nerve to tell me, their patient, that I was rude. Well maybe I am rude to liars who inconvenience me and treat me like crap. There was one woman there who assured me that she would report the liar to their supervisor. I hope she did. Those people need to know they are there to serve and help the patients. We are the reason they have a job and get paid. They need to know to treat us with dignity and respect. If they hate their job they should quit. They have a negative effect on people who are already struggling emotionally. They should be held accountable. read more

It's been many years since I've been a Terros "patient". My experiences there only added to my CPTSS. If you are seeking help, do not go here. It will scare you away from seeking professional psychological help. You will be forced to pop daily handfuls of pills, or you will be dumped as a patient. Of course misdiagnoses will occur to match your supposed needs for all those meds. If you're lucky enough to connect with a therapist, they will quit or you will be forced onto another therapist. Just say Moo and move along. Don't miss an appointment, because it will take months before you can get another one. This place is a psychological warfare in disguise. This is an all in one facility. They address Behavioral Health needs as well as Interology. I was impressed that they also had a Sonora quest lab on site and Pharmacy. My Doctor was amazing. I do not throw around that word lightly. This was literally the most comprehensive initial visit I've ever experienced. Blood work was ordered, lungs, eyes and ears were checked. Extremely impressed with the staff, the facility and of course my Physician. I no longer have AHCCCS but will be staying here. read more

Absolutely would not recommend. I tried to give this place a chance, but they have zero transparency and minimal follow up. Finding out I'd need a second visit only in the middle of my first session should have been a red flag. On top of this, they ask you to come in early for onboarding (30 minutes), but onboarding does not start until after the scheduled appointment time. I am literally in shock how a facility like this is still in business. I tried to give these people a chance and after yesterdays call not to mention I had to wait 3 hours after my scheduled appointment to end up no where besides feeling worse than I did before. The whole time speaking to Courtne Gaines she honestly didn't care about what I was going through or how I was feeling. Only until she reaches a point in my shoes she will. Courtne Gaines was always so quick to try and make each phone call quick as possible when I spoke to her on 04/07/2022 towards the ending of the call I wasn't finished asking my question in regards to a letter I requested but she ended it with a "BYE". SOO UNPROFESSIONAL!! I'm glad to say I will no longer be tolerating it. I'm a very good person I want nothing but greatness for everyone. I never asked to feel the way I do. As far as her being an APN im sorry to say but she is no Advanced practitioner nurse. And as far as my medication I don't get how two other practitioners by the names of Miranda Angermeier and Tammie Perez prescribed me medications when I only spoke to Courtne Gaines about how I felt. I literally feel completely VIOLATED! Whatever I told Courtney Gaines as far as policy was supposed to be "CONFIDENTIAL".!!! For the two other Practitioners that prescribed me medication it's clear to me that they all sit and "CHIT-CHAT" and talk about each patient deciding which "MEDICATION" they shall recieve.! This place is horrible. It takes months to get in and when you do the psychs give you a different diagnosis everytime. They prescribe medication that's completely out of date. I am on ahccs and I am trying to get well so that I can start to work again but with the quality of care provided it's like I am stuck here for the rest of my life. Just wanted to express the low care and poor customer service ethics that this clinic has. Since June my aunt was requesting a referral for Oncology, even her OB/GYN faxed a letter requesting an urgent Oncology referral, but she was referred to a GI instead. A GI doctor that did not even evaluated her, treated her or examined her, just to follow up in a month. Until I called and complaint asking for Oncology referral! We waited until August and nothing was getting done, we had to drive my aunt to Mexico to get all testing done since her PCP was not doing correctly or getting insurance "approvals". Which by all the testing done in Mexico we end up finding out that she had cancer. She was seen on August 19th by provider Christina Queval, reviewed the testing done in Mexico, once she entered in the room first thing she said that Terros was only 20% of primary care, otherwise stating that they slack in my aunts care. We did walked out with Oncology referral, since Mercy Care Plan does not requires authorization, I do not understand why it took 3 months to process the Oncology referral. When we call the Oncologist she was seen for a follow up by her GYN next day August 20th, and the provider exclaim why she has not seen Oncology, she faxed the request to PCP (Terros) as a STAT request for referral. Called Oncology at Palo Verde and she was fitted in their schedule ASAP on August 21st, which she was admitted into the hospital that same day per Physician request. She was there for 3 weeks, back home for one week admitted again. She passed away September 19th, 2019, due to colon cancer and kidney failure, colon cancer spread into her liver and other organs, if that referral for the correct specialist (oncology) would it been process on time cancer wouldn't spread that quick, a different treatment plan, or quality of life care, or her life could of been prolong, but it consumed her exactly a in a month. If I wouldn't called and complained the referral wouldn't be processed. Also you guys have poor customer services and rude staff when we call, they never know, and do cold transfer all over the place, and when someone finally answer do not know the information and have to explain everything all over to end up not getting help and being transfer to a voicemail, and never get a call back. This is one of the better community, nonprofit, mental health facilities in the Phoenix metro area and they do a great job of helping those that no one else will. It can be hard to get an appointment but that's because of the volume they handle. That combined with the fact they are nonprofit makes it hard to keep Doctors/Med Providers. I started going here because I had no choice, I choose to come back now because I support their cause of providing mental health care to those who need it the most... like I did... I strongly believe your experience here truly depends on your expectations... If you need help, you will find it here... if want quick and easy... well sorry, you won't find that at any mental health facility. The journey is part of the struggle. read more

I would skip this place. First off they will recommend medications that you specifically told them cause adverse side effects. Then they tell you that they won't prescribe meds that do work because of your history with substance or physical conditions. Next they recommend a treatment plan that doesn't work with either your schedule or your personal needs while denying you one on one counseling. As someone who has been in and around treatment, I happen to know that they frequently use IOP as treatment because of the cost. They can bill all their patients' insurance by hour in 3 hour groups 3 times a week. This prevents patients getting any sort of individual treatment for their circumstances and lumps everyone into the same group. IOP in a group setting is not effective without one on one counseling as anyone reputable in the field will tell you. This place will deny you one on one counseling unless you agree to group sessions which are highly profitable and this is well known in the industry. Say you have 20 people in a group for 3 hours and each person's insurance bills $50 an hour. That's $3000 per group while they might pay a facilitator $150 per group (I use these numbers as an example.) That's quite a profit, especially 3 days a week. I'm aware of this through my own personal experience, educational background in counseling , and close friendships with people in the industry. At Terros there is a lack of individual treatment plans coupled with long and detailed assesments which are pointless because they appear to treat everyone like they are the same. I got the impression that this was their plan before I spent hours on the phone detailing the issues I faced. Unless you are court ordered to get treatment, I would seek another avenue if you want real help. Here, you will just go through the motions and kill time while they profit. read more

The worst place for anyone who has mental health issues or any kind of health issues to be involved with. The "Providers" as they call the psychologists are never the same the patient visits multiple doctors never getting the same treatment. The staff also likes to play mind games with the patients and has the same treatment for everyone...They just drug patients and use the threat technique of hospitalization to scare clients and have hurt more than have helped.. I along with others have witnessed drug deals inside the clinic on Broadway, one normal patient was openly selling meth and weed inside the clinic in front of the staff and the security. Until i spoke up the staff and patients looked as though it was a normal Thing. The Broadway clinic is a recovery clinic but has drug dealers inside and out front smoking pot and cigarettes on the property. Along with the poor staff and mistreatment of clients the appointments are never prompt or on time. The Clinic has lost more jobs for me that helped me acquire a job. Along with the whole clinic the doctors including "Shuntelle Hawk" should be investigated and re staffed. Truly the worst read more

I thought I was hopeless and lost forever in addiction but Jeremy's story inspired me to see past a label and to believe in myself. ZERO IF I COULD, but it wont post then!This is the worst mental heath facility Ive ever seen. They make appointment for you that your UN- aware of, then told your a no show. Lynette called out sick no phone to me to reschedule . Then rescheduled the next one two months later to find out she no longer works there. Then rescheduled again. Now my meds are out and haven't seen a doc for two month, they won't bridge my meds. I was told to go to emergency health clinic. Really Wait, have you ever seen it there? So my counselor makes an appointment after canceling mine, I show for the appointment and was told I reschdule it for the next day. I didn't so I called her she said she did it and was sorry. Again no contact. They are mY anxiety im being treated for. I get sick everytime I gotta go. Now my team panthers, suck including supervisor . I was homeless and they demanded a home visit, right?! Continue to hound me. No i wouldnt give them m address ever. Oh and im going to a recovery clinic. Recovering from what. I don't do drugs or drink. Insane! I hate this place stay away. Called last week to make an appointment for my daughter and was told that there were no available appointments within their 15 day advance scheduling. Erica explained to me that you cannot make an appointment if the available appointments falls outside of the 15 day time period. Evidently too many people were no shows and this was their answer to solving that. Erica was nice enough and helpful. I called once again today for finally (hopefully)make an appointment. The first call was answered by a male who said hold on, and hung up on me. I called back and the same male answered who placed me on hold once again, and came back on the line after several minutes and hung up on me again. I then, called back another time and was hung up on again. I've come to the conclusion after wasting all of this time, that if this is the way that their people conduct themselves just answering a phone, than this isn't a place I would want to expose my daughter to.
