Took time to explain everything - there are so many details in going to settlement but she explained everything thoroughly, even going line by line. 3. Very honest and straightforward - no unnecessary fees and was willing to flex on some negotiable fees. fees were the lowest by a significant amount. i'm always a bit weary of loan officers/mortgage brokers but she definitely won my trust. 4. We came across quite a few hiccups but they were so great about answering my emails within an hour and keeping me up to date on everything. We are finally scheduled to close day after tomorrow and Jan has been amazing about answering all of my questions and talking me through each document line by line. Buying a home is scary! But they make it so much easier. I had initially chosen to go with Bank of America because I've always banked with them but very early in the process I noticed that they have millions of clients, I am just another one in the masses.
