We were able to make some temporary upgrades to the home while renting with them as well. We added a smart thermostat and a doorbell camera without any issues. My husband and I were sure to re-install the existing doorbell and thermostat upon moving. Since we moved from the Bay Area towards the Sacramento Valley, we were able to rent a home for the same price (if not cheaper) as the apartments and some townhomes by the surrounding areas of Travis AFB. That being said, we got the best bang for our buck in that regard.
