The appointment was made 2-1/2 months prior and I asked to be put on the wait list. If anyone cancelled we could be in the office in 4 hours, driving down from Chicago, then picking up my mother in Lafayette and arriving in Carmel. For 2 months I occasionally called, to no avail. In that time frame not on single call came from this office with a cancellation opening. Not one cancellation in 2 months? In the mean time I had secured a sooner appointment with an equally affluent, but far more caring law firm specializing in elder law. I called to cancel the appointment and was asked to hold while they transferred me, yet again to the person who handles cancellations. Please explain this to me. You have a person who handles cancelations yet no availability for my Mother in 2 months? When I asked for an itemized statement, I got the runaround and they kept sending me a bill after we had already discussed me not paying that amount I would not recommend this lawyer to anybody. .
