The main feature is the three decent sized baseball/softball fields that are in reasonably good condition. I imagine they get quite a workout during the warmer weather! There are bleachers at the ball field though there is minimal shade. The park also has a few picnic shelters, a permanent structure with restrooms and a really nice looking playground with shade and several different climbing/sliding features. Parking is behind and to the side of the largest of the baseball diamond. I would imagine that you still need to be aware of the foul ball going back into the parking area. Except for one ball field and the trail that circles the park all amenities are at one end. For eastbound visitors along Midland or Lackland roads that's not a problem. Westbound travelers have a difficult u-turn where Midland and Lackland cross and form an 'X' intersection. An option is using Millet Drive to the east. However, entering that way feels like you're going opposite the normal traffic flow on the one lane drive/lot.
