I came in here because of a previous review where their hair was "butchered". I was having the same experience from a local shop within eyesight. As I walked out of that shop, unhappy, I saw this place and grabbed the phone number. When I called the new owner, Jessy/ Jessica, was super sweet and easy to make an appointment with. A few weeks later, I was in her chair hoping for a savior. She understood a man's "permanent" haircut, as she and her Lubbock friends called it. A business professional haircut, you will probably keep the next 30 years. She was quick, clean & efficient. I will be back! 5 STARs to #ShopLocal

More importantly is that my wife is a former cosmetologist and she knows hair and hair cuts. This is the first time she did not come home and do some trimming of her own hair after she spent money on a hair cut and she did not complain about the hair salon or stylist. That told me that Jill knew exactly what she was doing and is a competent hair stylist. I highly recommend the Parlour Hair Salon

I asked, and saw they were not appointments, their names (top right list-two columns) were crossed out. My name (D R) on the left bottom. The stylist/ hairdressers are patient and will take their time, so if you are waiting for someone specific you might have to wait a while. However, from what I have seen, most of them are pretty talented. If you have a simple style, you can usually get a seat pretty quickly. I have seen them work on kids, adults, and elderly. They can do it all, and most of these ladies have built a loyal clientele! That's not easy to do. I have been to almost every place in this county for men's hair. My hair is not a simple buzz cut or shave, and it does require styling. This is the only place I could find someone who knew how to work with medium length men's hair, and could be consistent. I do not like clippers on my hair, it just never works out right... and this place will do an actual scissors cut. 4 Solid stars!
