He charged me a separate amount for the pen, engraving the pen, the case, and engraving the case. In addition, I was also charge for expedite fee, which I am okay with. Overall, I spent over $70 for a stainless steel pen. I didn't expect to be charged for a pen case if I am buying the pen. I mean what so called fancy pen comes without a case. I do appreciate his time to work on my item, but I think the price was ridiculous for the item. I just wished he made his prices known up front because I would have went some place else. I also blame myself for not asking about prices before having him work on my item. I do however appreciate his time and the engraving is nice. My pet peeve with most tradespeople here in Austin is that almost everyone leaves the job site a mess for me the owner and customer to clean up! The job is not done until everything is cleaned up! Greg understands this and I appreciate it. His welding is excellent, that goes without saying. What makes him exceptional is the "extra" the clean up of welds and the worksite, everyone else is a hack. I don't know if Greg is the cheapest and honestly I don't care, what I care about is workmanship and not half assing it. Greg does the best work and I don't mind the price.
