I brought my fancy comforter here for a good wash because it's way too good for my home washer. Actually, it's way too big for my home washer, but you get what I'm saying. The woman working here is super friendly and helpful. My load took 30 minutes and about another 15-20 minutes to dry. My comforter came out clean and in good shape. I had a great time and it's all because of Miss Rachel. On the two gentlemen that work at night that owned this establishment , She is just a light in the dark. She made me laugh even though I didn't understand what she said she said things were such happiness and joy I could not help but laugh she moves everybody along with gentleness and kindness just like the two gentlemen that own this establishment come in and that's a good time Miss Rachel ishe is bilingual and it is important in these days and times , a great place to go as you know being bilingual is so necessary in today, not only to the two gentleman that own the place are absolutely wonderful, but Miss Rachel makes this laundromat so much better she is a wonderful caretaker for the two gentlemen that work at night and they own the place and they are so sweet. Their price is low. They are washing machine machines are low. They have a $.99 ATM how about that and all their products are so much lower than anybody else they have drinks that are such a reasonable price and products to wash your laundry. y'all go see Miss Rachel she will make your day and make you laugh. What wonderful people they are. I always have a wonderful time here and I love coming here. It is not high-tech. It is coins which day of course it's so important for people that are not technical people , they have a change machine. Please try out Terrytown coin laundry. And y'all come visit Miss Rachel. I appreciate the space and the type of machines it has but honestly it is absurd the new regulation that was put in the laundry I understand that it is a public "Laundry" at the service of citizens, to use a washing machine and a dryer according to my needs but a lady who works here has taken out the clothes of my newborn baby that I come to dry obviously as a father and with a lot of sacrifice I bought a washing machine to wash only and exclusively her clothes and I only come to dry her clothes But she in her ideals that she has says that the dryers are only for those who come to wash! I don't understand this type of regulation and whose idea it was. I clarify that I come here to wash and dry my clothes and the only one I come to dry is my baby's, they should take this into account that I imagine that it has not only happened to me and as it bothers me I suppose many people too, The person who took me out of the laundry is the lady who speaks Spanish and English. My husband and I are in town for a couple weeks. I needed to do some laundry and this place seemed reasonable. They have small washers $2.75/load and a few big ones $5.00/load. Driers are large so you can put 2 loads together. 25cents for so many minutes. They have some areas to fold laundry afterwards. I went first thing in the morning on a Tuesday. They open at 7am and people were already showing up to do laundry. However, it wasn't overly busy. For my first laundry mat visit it wasn't bad. I do think it is priced high and could be updated maybe. Overall, I was in and out with no problems. I hope I don't have to go back but I would if I had to. Needed a clean and reliable coin laundry on an extended trip. Terrytown Coin worked out very well. Too few large washers. At $3.50 per load on a small washer is a little for my use of coin laundries. The large dryers were great. $.25 for 7 minutes was okay. Got all my clothes dry quickly. Used the shop twice now and never had to wait for an open (small) washer or for a dryer. read more

This is your average hood laundromat. It's kinda old but not bad. I'm used to more up to date laundry machines that take credit cards. Its only coins here but the machines I used worked well and on a Sunday Afternoon I didn't have to wait for a machine. read more

Their score is low but I personally liked terrytown coin laundry mat! Got in got laundry into a washer took 33 mins it seemed a lot quicker than that which is always a plus got cloths dry within 25 mins! Didn't spend much would definitely recommend read more

On Saturday, July 6, my father went to this coin laundry to wash and dry his clothes. The business appeared to be clean and well kept. A problem arose, however, when the attendant, a Hispanic woman, deliberately took his clothes out of the dryer as they were drying and gave the dryer to another Hispanic patron. When he questioned the attendant as to why she would take his wet clothes out of the dryer, with time still remaining, she threatened that she would call the police if he did not leave. My father, feeling as if he had no other recourse, was forced to leave the laundry with wet clothes and pay again to finish drying them at another establishment. When I called to speak to a manager on my father's behalf, this same attendant would not give me any information to get in contact with a manager. She told me that the manager's name was Glenda, but I am not even sure if this is a correct name. It is unfortunate that my father, a 57 year-old man, was forced to endure this type of treatment. All he wanted to do was wash and dry his clothes for the allotted time he paid for. I can assure you that neither me nor my father will visit this establishment again. My suggestion is that they reevaluate the way in which they treat their customers. read more
