The parking lot had plenty of spaces and even an electric vehicle charger. In the children's area, there were computers, train table, blocks, play kitchen, and magnetic tiles. The library was very clean and organized. There are plenty of events, activities, and services; check out their website for updates. Overall, one of my favorite libraries I've been to so far.

Many interesting and fun programs over the years from craft projects to fantastic performances. The staff are amazing humans who put 100% into everything they do, not just for the kids, but the whole family. Very knowledgeable and supportive. Great books of every kind, including tough subjects and how to talk to kids about anything: bullying or bodies or big life changes. The adults area is great and I have enjoyed taking my laptop and doing quiet work by the enormous windows at the provided desks- that have outlets! They encourage the children to borrow books and to be involved in the scanning and stamping process. This is wonderful for the children, who are invariably very happy and excited. We take our granddaughters to "Story time" on Mondays at 2.15. Kerry is a very skilled storyteller and she is so good with all the children. After the story, the children do some painting, which they all love. We are very grateful for this lovely facility. There were renovators all over the place & that should've been my cue... or that the parking lot was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Parking lot was large in size and could accommodate quite a few people. (Maybe 40-50 cars?) Will be back when I'm passing through the area. This seemed to be the best reviewed library around and I will update my review when I've had the chance to experience the place a bit more.

The selection seems to be ample, and the people working there were actually smiling. I've never seen that in a real life work environment (which may say more about me than them). Getting in and out change be a little challenging, especially if you're using a GPS. Parking is available behind the town hall/police station, and the actual building is on the street but if you're coming from the right, is across a split road. My dog and I drove around for quite a while before this dawned on me.

There is some parking in the front, and a beautiful garden to the left by the exit. Inside there is space for a children's, teen's, and adult's section, as well as a small cafe. The decor is very creative and unique (Bigfoot for the summer? Awesome!) and the wall mounted card catalog looks like an easy lifesaver to find what you're looking for.

Needed to check in with a library host to get access to a computer and so I ended up going back into the other room. Read for awhile and then headed out. Spoiled with my hometown library and I'm comparing the two but the outside reading area seemed quite lovely and despite being a bit outdated, this library had far more adult reading materials than my own!

I frequent this library more than any other due to its proximity to my house. It's a pretty small…read morelibrary. But for the size it has an impressive DVD and music collection. You can find a lot of foreign and Criterion films and they are in good condition because they are hardly ever checked out. The CDs are an eclectic mix with indie as well as mainstream selections. The drawback to this library is that well, it's just hard to explain. Here's a list of some things that have happened to me recently: 1) A lady yelled obscenities at me for parking. Granted, she pulled in behind me but she was really unhappy that I parked in what she must have decided was "her" parking spot. 2) I held the door for a guy who then slowed down, didn't make any effort to take the door, and then stopped halfway through the doorway. 3.) The circulation clerk asked me if the classic movie I was checking out was a DVD or an audiobook. That's just shocking for a few different reasons. The building itself is attractive from the outside. It's probably one of the most visually interesting libraries I've seen in the state. Parking is ample but inconvenient. There is a small parking lot in front of the building that is usually filled. There are now a few spots on the street but you'll have a short walk, and a large parking lot in the back that is also a bit of a walk. There is also no reference librarian here. So if you want to put something on hold you'll just be directed to the catalog and told to do it yourself. But the DVD and music collections are awesome! That's reason enough to keep me going back.
